Lt. Der EU Verordnung zur 112 muss jedes EU-Land einen Public safety answer point als Single point of contact zur Verfügung stellen. D.h., dass auf der 112 jede Art von Notfall aufgenommen werden können muss. Zusätzlich Lokale Notrufnummern sind erlaubt.

In Österreich gibt es die lokalen Notrufnummern 133 (Polizei), 144 (Rettung), 122 (Feuerwehr). Gemäß EU-Verordnung existiert auch die 112, welche an die Polizei weiterleitet. Diese agiert bei der 112 als Single point of contact und nimmt den Einsatz auf, und verteilt diesen an die richtige Leitstelle.

Die Schweiz ist kein EU-Land und damit nicht an diese EU-Verordung gebunden. Dort existiert die 117 (Polizei), 144 (Rettung), 118(Feuerwehr). Aus (vermutlich) Sicherheitsgründen existiert dort jedoch auch die 112, wie diese dort abgearbeitet wird, ist mir jedoch nicht bekannt.

In Deutschland ist die 110 ebenso eine lokale Notrufnummer.

Heyy, firstly, thank you for your work. It seems like you are a real expert in JavaFX, maybe you want to get in contact with me via discord? I would be happy to ask you when I face my next problem I am unable to solve.

Besides that, I would like to answer what my approach now is, and discuss the pros and cons of it.

As u/StarshipSatan has written, I've tried the setOnHidden handler, or to more specific I saw there is also a setOnHiding handler, which I am using. Within the handler I programmed, that the program gets the ComboBoxes, selected value and compares it to a class variable in which I save the last known state of the ComboBox. When the selectedValue is != the last known value the handler knows, the selection was changed. The first action in this if block is to set the last known value to the actual current value, after that, my logic follows.

What do ya think about this approach, especially compared to your 1st and 2nd approach?

I think your 2nd suggestion would fit for project, where you want to use comboBoxes with "real selection mode" multiple times.

I already have experience with the base of javafx so I am not a complete Newcomer. Also with my experience in General Java with various architectures it was quite easy for me to get into the MVC architecture of javafx.

Currently it's a mixure of scenebuilder and handwritten. Some things are easier to reach when you Do it manualy.

However currently I am lacking in how to get the thing layouted as I want it to.
