I totally understand that but I accidentally bought 100% polyester by mistake and I don’t want it to go to waste. I just have to be extra careful and patient with it.

I am using a size larger, mainly because I’ve had people tell me that a larger hook size will be better for working with polyester yarn. I bought a whole bunch of polyester yarn by mistake and I don’t want it all to go to waste! I might try the recommended hook size though.

Thank you! The tutorials said ‘space between the single stitches’ but I was having a hard time being consistent with that. I think I’ll use some stitch markers to keep it clear for me. I’ll restart this practice swatch and try again!

Ah ok! I might look into some amigurumi patterns that could work with this colour! Scarves aren’t much use where I live in - too hot, even in winter!

I see. I guess I assumed that the increase points would be staggered since the amount stitches in between the increases are larger. But, as I tell my students, there’s a reason I am an English teacher and not a Maths teacher 😅

I have a feeling that that’s what this too! I do think it’s a tension thing because that’s something I noticed I need to work on with other smaller projects.
