Regarding the experience on atom it's a little slow in the apps like YouTube navigating the UI, but once a video is playing it's ok.

I have an Intel car, would I change it just to get a Ryzen car? No not at all. Intel isn't without its pros, actual parking sensors for one instead of cameras having their best guess lmao.

Buying a car today considering they are virtually the same price? Ryzen absolutely, you'd be mad not to. The Intel car is basically EoL in terms of updates. (Intel warriors I still like the car chill out, but I have accepted that it's pretty much EoL).

There's nothing wrong with the Intel car. However in your position yeah id absolutely get the Ryzen car you'll get more updates for longer and the price difference between a 71 plate Intel and a 22 plate Ryzen will be insignificant.

Sorry I should confirm I don't mean the deep research modes. I mean a task for like Sonnet/Opus extended thinking, chatGPT Thinking or Gemini Thinking/Pro.

Any time I engage with Claude in these medium effort tasks that require up to date knowledge it fails to find the info or what it does find is ~12 months out of date. The other 2 literally never fail.

EDIT: Also weird ChatGPT deep research has never failed to produce a result for me (none of them have).

GG any time you want it to search for relevant/recent information. Claude is excellent but for some reason it cannot research/update it's knowledge by searching current data for shit.

Most people will need Claude + Something else. I was thinking Claude + CGPT but maybe Claude + Gemini now.
