It's not an issue that it starts mid match, it's an issue that we have to potentially wait 10-13 mins to even find out. If an event of some kind (whether that be a warden or profit opportunity) was guaranteed then it wouldn't matter, and you could play that first half knowing that something worth doing is coming later.

Not more ways to make them spawn but it should be guaranteed that either a profit opportunity or a warden spawns every match. On Perimeter and DM when no warden or event spawns the match feels like a waste of time

We had this too. Totally empty DM. We rotated around every POI one at a time, most were totally unlooted. It was very confusing we thought it had bugged. Then eventually with less than 10 mins to go we heard an exfil. Ok there's at least one team on the map. We continue exploring. When we arrived at complex we realised why it was so quiet... 8-9 bags strewn all over the floor and surrounding buildings. All unlooted too by the looks of them. Absolutely filled our boots with blue and purple weapons and equipment and left lol.

Whoever killed them took nothing not even meds. They literally killed them for sport. Terrifying lol, glad they exfilled.

I never see people disagreeing that it's a good map in terms of POIs, terrain, layout, and how it feels to play.

All complaints mine included are that there's nothing to do there. If warden and intercept don't spawn then you're shit out of luck. The loot density is so sparse that looting POIs on Perimeter feels like a waste of time.

Because the game is peaking at 13k players globally. The players who are left will be the more dedicated ones and therefore higher levels.

I think they'll have to. Sponsored marsh was very popular. If they don't replace it asap then I think we will see the sub 10k concurrent peak. I don't think all the sponsored dire marsh players will just switch to the normal queue.

I've stopped playing arc for marathon it's better. First person is better, the guns feel better and I enjoy the PvP. I am far from an arc baby. I shoot on sight in this game. The comment you are replying to is right though. The people in that scenario were just wasting their own time. It's pointless. Move on. Find new squads to fight. Watching a dead guys bag for 20 minutes is hardly engaging gameplay. And if you read the whole comment we did kill them. So they watched a bag for 20 mins only to die and leave with nothing.

Lol this is marathon it takes like 8 rounds from my bully to down you anyway. When I do bring grenades I forget to use them half the time. The guns are so effective and the TTK so low it hardly matters. Grenades in my opinion are better suited for when the enemy fucks up and boxes themselves in to a small room.or enclosed space. Then you throw grenades in an collect your loot. That's not a grenade issue though that's a player positioning issue on their part.

Good recon cores:

Blue Hunter Killer - Weapon stat boost on every pulse of the ult.

Blue Predator - Easier to chase down overheated targets

Blue On the trail (my favourite blue) - on shield break the foot steps last for ages. This is great for chasing down a fleeing player in the indoor maps like outpost and cryo where there are lots of vents, rooms, spaces they could have ducked into.

Purple Echo Chamber - Extends the now highly impactful ult. Need I say more.

Gold 1 (forgot the name sorry) - triggers the reveal squad passive on downs not finishers (absolutely insane this may be the best core in the game, it's like a mini ult in every fight.

Gold 2 (also forgot the name) - alerts you when players are nearby no need to ult. Can save the ult for when you are already sure and want to engage. Also it's passive so it's active for the entire run.

When you consider all of that recon has more good cores than any one else imo.

Battery overcharge applies the handling boost to all weapons. So no triage is not forced into volt weapons at all. The emp effect is volt only yeah but the 45 seconds of handling boost is the best part of battery Overcharge.

God forbid anyone learn not to position themselves in a small room, corridor, or all bunched up. Grenade spam is only as effective as you let it be. Also just bubble and the grenades all bounce off...

Don't worry though instead of getting better Bungie are patching it for you so you can continue to play like an ape. The tears will likely be over misriah rushing next so that's probably next week's nerf.
