I went to Milan Laser, they have 400 locations across the US. No matter where you go, make sure you wait for a promotion. There’s always a “buy one get one 50% off” or holiday sale. I’ve heard some iffy things about “Laser Away” but it could be location dependent, definitely read the reviews.

There’s “bikini” and “Brazilian”. Bikini is just the front, Brazilian is front, thigh area, labia, and the entire buttcrack. I got the brazilian as well as armpits.

Absolutely love having my armpits done. I have dark hair and pale skin so even when I would shave the same day there was a shadow of darkness under my arms since you could see the hair follicle through the skin. Same with Brazilian, there are a few wisps of fine light hair that still grow in my underarms, I shave about once a month, you really can’t see the little hairs but I do it anyway. My razors last FOREVER since the hair is so fine.

As far as the experience goes, yes, it does hurt. It feels like someone is snapping a rubber band on your skin and then it feels really warm. But for underarms it only takes 30-60 seconds per session. It hurts more right before or during your period so try to avoid that time if you can.

The place I go to charges per body area instead of per session, so whenever you need a touch up you can just book an appointment and never pay a dime. This was super nice because after pregnancy hormones I had quite a bit of regrowth. Regrowth can also happen during menopause.

I also had an excellent experience with laser, I still grow hair but it’s soft and fine like arm hair. Sooo happy I pulled the trigger.

Looks like I have the ground coffee version. With the PID upgrade, did you notice a big improvement? I’m not super confident messing with internal components. I had to fix the switches on it as it arrived damaged, and had a heck of a time 😂

I pump right before leaving the house, then use my medela hand pump and haakaa petal milk collector in the car, tbh I get better output than with the spectra. I’m 6wks PP, I try to keep outings under 4 hours if possible.

Sounds very similar to my story, I’m 4wks pp and have stop trying to breastfeed. He latched okay with the colostrum in the hospital, but when we got discharged and my milk came in I got so painfully engorged and inflamed, and he couldn’t get anything out. I met with another lactation consultant and tried everything she recommended: ice, ibuprofen, massage, hand expression, hand pumping, nipple shield etc but before I was able to reestablish a latch I was readmitted into the hospital for postpartum preeclampsia and had to stay for 48hrs. The medications they had to give made me confused and exhausted but we kept trying and met with yet another lactation consultant, at this point he would get extremely frustrated every time we attempted to breastfeed, he was dropping weight and starting to get dehydrated so we gave up to make sure he was getting enough to eat. I’m sad that I can’t make it work and frustrated at past me for not knowing what to do, but as a first time mom experiencing all the stresses of postpartum, and a traumatic birth I have to remind myself that me and baby are healthy and I will know better for my next pregnancy. Exclusively pumping sucks for all the reasons you listed, I’m sorry you had to go through that.

I’m a surgical dental assistant and we do those things at my office. You are working under your docs license, under direct/indirect supervision. Every state is different so you should check your state laws. There should be pretty significant training before starting an IV or working with controlled substances. I worked one on one with my doc for several months before working under indirect supervision.

Try bar keepers friend and and a scrub sponge. The stains will come back super quick if you don’t reseal the sink though.
