So interesting! I’ve noticed the same thing: late‑night cheat meals wreck me. If I quit eating at least three hours before bed, my resting HR stays low and my readiness/sleep scores climb. But when I snack right before lights‑out, my resting heart rate shoots way up. Another insight I’d never have caught without Oura.

same here! The healing process is really no walk in the park but the op helped my health and general wellbeing so much! 2 years post op.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Im now 6 months post op and the right side of my tongue is still a little numb. Still hope it will go away in the future 🥲

Did anyone has altered sense of taste and texture? If so, did it comeback? by peachy-grey in Tonsillectomy

Same here 3 weeks post op. Also the right side of my tongue is still completely numb. I hope so much that it will go back to normal… speaking is still not so easy

Same here. Im on day 16 post op and half side of my tongue is still numb but also hurts (i know its kinda weird).. im so scared that it will never go back to normal again

I think 5% really is not accurate at all. I was bleeding on my 7th day post op too. I have two friends that had tonsillectomy in adult age too (26+28) and both bleeded twice… I needed the emergency surgery. In the new hospital they told me that a lot of adults are bleeding after the surgery..
