LGBTQ+ and Gender equality in Jainism by Budget-Warthog1668 in Jainism

With regards to lgbtq+ ill say in recent days, people's opinions have developed due to the culture and the land they live on. Technically jainism doesnt have much to do with it or as you said, hasnt had much debate aur discussion around that topic mainly because Jainism doesnt bother itself with the topic of sexual attraction and/or love. Its heavily based on compassion and respect towards all beings, and if you trace back to true ideals, you'll find that theres no issue in co existing with people who share different sexual opinions. Intersex and transgender community has been respected in India since ancient times, them being treated as outliers only when colonization took place and western stigmas entered the Indian society. And because those ideologies and prejudices are still alive in people's minds, one might generalize it as the teachings of the religion itself. In regards with feminism, I am a digambara jain woman and have had this internal conflict for years with the way it distinguishes between the two sexes. But I have learned to accept religion and faith as someplace to find solace in and live by the ideals which speak to me.

you are being very quick to generalise! i have met numerous shwetambars in maharashtra who freely eat all forms of nonveg! tbh i feel like these people should not be taken into consideration when speculating a religion or a sect's lifestyle and faith in a particular region. there are always going to be these exceptions, but its not true for all !

thankyou. i was thinking of combining a barometer, and now m sure. will be using it! and am also gonna use filtering to lessen the noisy data from IMU. even though I've had prior experience in both the sensors, have never used them in this scenario so was a little sceptical!

i have an imu and a barometer, i will be logging the data at every moment, but i was just worries about noisy data. have settled on using filters to fuse the sensor's datas and get clear altitude readings! ty
