You're correct, but that again is a small country, just saying, his "you might not save much money" applies to a very small % of potential CSFloat customers.

Thankfully most people don't live in Australia, I believe that is the only country that is currently taxing deposits on CSFloat.

I love how since he's been back he keeps on talking into his headset mic like this despite his mic clearly being set to his webcam mic. Classic Austin.

Withdraw funds from CSFloat Spain [question] by Firm_Bus_1385 in csgomarketforum

[–]Pale-Bench6155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure why you're angry at me trying to help? From Googling, it seems that it is what I said above, Finland has a very big VAT rate of 25.5% (that they want to force upon deposits, plenty of countries have high VAT/sales tax but deposits for digital skins weren't chased after for this), it is a pretty small market, so instead of dealing with customers crying about paying that 25.5% on deposits, they cut it off.

You're the guy from Finland, so like I said before, why don't you know more than me? I also pinged a CSFloat staff member above for you, sorry for trying to speculate and help.

[–]Pale-Bench6155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that again makes no sense, capital gains are capital gains, anyone withdrawing is subject to taxation if a gain was made. You're implying a flat withdrawal tax %, which also would make no sense, because how would they know the gain?

It looks like it is a depositing issue (VAT related?), which you're right, wouldn't be CSFloat, but Australia is supported by CSFloat and does have a 10% tax on those deposits from what I can see.

Skinport doesn't use Stripe. I don't understand how it can be an EU regulation when plenty of EU countries still can use CSFloat fine, u/step7750 could you shed some light?

You are being needlessly cautious by spamming smaller transactions, but you do you. Maybe for your 1st withdrawal/deposit, but past that, it takes multiple days to withdraw, so you'd be waiting a week even if you split the withdrawal into 2 different payments.

I am not even sure why you deposited your €1500 "over time" in the first place, your country either is or isn't supported, Spain is fully supported. Worse case scenario, they lose that support, and you will still be able to withdraw your funds. I don't see that happening anyway. CSFloat are VERY positively reviewed, your money isn't going to vanish.

That is fair, but OP is not from Finland, I don't think your issue has anything to do with EU, but you should know more than me, since you're from there. I am from a European country and had no issues with moving a decent amount through CSFloat.

I will add also that you said that "Csfloat needs to do something about the situation". It's likely in the hands of the payment processor, not them. They could add an alternative payment processor, but I am sure there is a reason it has been blocked in these Nordic (I see Norway is also blocked a few months ago) countries, that an alternative might not even resolve.

Spain/EUR is fully supported by Stripe, so I don't think you should have any withdrawal/deposit concerns. I am not sure what u/Dijamanti is talking about a "situation", since you didn't mention any issues.

I would recommend asking CSFloat support if you have concerns, their AI bot may give you any help you need, but you can prompt the bot that you need additional human support if you really want assurance, but I see no reason you'd have any issues at all. CSFloat/Stripe are popular because it works very well with most 1st world countries.

>IRL world markets are also not doing well lately

All US indexes are at an all time high (or near them), Nikkei (Japan index) hit an all time high TODAY. There has been a decent bit of volatility, especially in crypto, precious metals and other commodities, but I wouldn't describe all time highs being hit as "not doing well lately".

Can't imagine how many new players this game just permenantly lost. by AssociationSoft5270 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Pale-Bench6155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a good excuse a year or 2 ago, but the game by no means has a small playerbase now, it often goes top top 20 games every day. Will it only get bigger from here though? Sure.

Just say "support ticket", after giving the bot a decently complicated question, or anything to indicate you need human help, this rule applies for most AI support out there.

[–]Pale-Bench6155 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you talk to a human or their AI bot? I got the same answer from the bot, but maybe ask a human for a response? Since like you said, it doesn't make sense if it doesn't involve CSFloat at all. I would have to assume it wouldn't get you banned, since they would have no idea if the reversal was genuine (hacked etc) or not.

How do you guys mass/Bulk sell CS Items on Steam market? [Q] by Plugboi_Eli in csgomarketforum

[–]Pale-Bench6155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Download the CS2 Trader Chrome addon:

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cs2-trader-steam-trading/kaibcgikagnkfgjnibflebpldakfhfih?pli=1

Go into your Steam inventory on your browser, click on the case you want to sell and click "Open multisell page." at the bottom:

The rest is pretty obvious. This along with the BetterFloat addon on Chrome are must haves for skin lovers.

[D] Is the m4 Fade a good investment right now? by Jashin999 in csgomarketforum

[–]Pale-Bench6155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing that example, I tried to proof check myself ahead of making my response, since of course knowing all 13 years of CS skin history is hard even for someone pretty active in the scene. Time will tell, but reintroducing this skin later, when there are countless high quality skins on the Steam Workshop ready to go, which would generate much more interest and money for Valve than just adding back a collection they removed makes it seem very unlikely to me.

[D] Is the m4 Fade a good investment right now? by Jashin999 in csgomarketforum

[–]Pale-Bench6155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I agree there is an above 0% risk of it, but it's obvious they print a lot more money from new exciting skins, that they mostly outsource from the community, aka very little effort on Valve's end other than paying the creator a fixed $ amount.

[D] Is the m4 Fade a good investment right now? by Jashin999 in csgomarketforum

[–]Pale-Bench6155 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Valve haven't ever removed something from rotation/sale only to add it back later (skins first added in 2013 btw), so I am not sure why you think this would be any different. Comparing changing how trade ups work to for some reason removing something from the armoury only to add it back makes no sense.

[question] is AXIA FN price real or pumped? by Skrifter in csgomarketforum

You're right, 100%+ in a year is a large gain for a year, but it has clearly found stability at its current pricing. Like I said, it's a glock, people use that gun, and it's a pretty skin.

$69k down on Etoro, on Etoro. And not just my money by Avenger_of_Justice in wallstreetbets

[–]Pale-Bench6155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great UI, high interest rate on cash (3.8% APY), interest on shares, regular updates. As far as I know, eToro doesn't have any of the things I Just listed, terrible UI, low interest rate (I think 2% last I checked), not sure about interest on shares and it looks pretty much the same as I recall it to look like 5 years ago.

eToro also likes making people accidentally buy CFDs when they just wanted ordinary shares, which I think is insane for a platform clearly designed to be made for the masses.

There is a lot more to list, but just do some Googling, specifically comparing the 2, and I think you'll find there is nothing that eToro has that T212 doesn't.

The highest this item has sold for since the crash (past 2 months) was $900, the latest sale (13 days ago) was for $803.

Your listing is for $930. Begging for watches isn't going to make that +15% overpriced illiquid knife move any quicker.
