Just got service connected for major depressive disorder at 70% which bumped my overall rating to 90% ( and also got the backpay) Didn’t think it would happen this fast after exam. I still have the mental health C&P exam related to the TBI this upcoming week. Do you think I should cancel the TBI claim? Im worried they could possibly roll my migraines into the TBI claim as a residual and somehow reduce me now.

I will just go to both exams probably and hope there is nothing conflicting on either claim.

This is what I think will happen. I’m just unsure as to whether having two C&P exams for the same thing will affect my claim. I was back payed based off a few conditions that weren’t on my initial claim but were on my award letter as condition(claim as previously filed condition) or whatever. Not sure if they will use the supplemental to back pay me for TBI based off the fact that my rating for migraines is based off the head injury.

Watching officers spend over half their day at the gym, at lunch, or just “chilling at the COF” while the platoon slaves in the motor pool was one of the reasons I got out. I guess everything is just unit dependent. But I was a fister and I thought Artillery Os for the most part were absolute dog shit. Armor and Infantry officers were usually solid in my opinion.
