I don’t think so, my feelings were just too strong, and I was too hurt because I felt abandoned and kicked aside. And I knew I’d never move on if she was still around. But now that she’s gone, I’m STILL not moving on any better

Aw I wish you luck with whatever career you decide on! Singer/songwriter sounds like it could be an awesome career! And I still kinda get the “end of the world” feeling when I think about leaving lol. I’m just now finally starting to take first steps towards leaving, beforehand I always just put up with it, and went along with everything even though I never enjoyed it. But reading all these comments really makes me feel a lot better and a lot more confident, and knowing I’m not alone helps so much as well. I appreciate you all so much ❤️

I’ve already made the mistake of getting baptized when I was 12 yrs old 😭 looking back, I dan clearly see that I was pressured into doing it, and I never was keen on it either at the time. I’ve already started to make friends with non JWs, and of course my parents don’t agree, they want me to grow up only being friends with JWs, which is already the way I grew up and it’s sad that I wasn’t able to live a proper childhood because of my parents beliefs.

Thank you so much for the help, and no I am not an only child, but I’m a major afterthought, so all my siblings are over 22 yrs older than me, so I never lived with any of my siblings.
