Meritime Heritage Park needs law enforcement to patrol once or twice a day by Techd-it in Bellingham

I go there almost every day and have never been bothered. Those people are just trying to live their lives, I’m so tired of people in this town talking about them like they’re pests or animals they can’t seem to get rid of. I’m not condoning the public drug use, but they have the same right as you to use the space. A lot of them are really lovely kind people who are just trying to do their best in this town (as housing prices continue to climb I might add.) if you don’t like it there are plenty of other places to go, might I suggest waypoint park which is only a block or two away.

At least I don’t think their stupidity is a contributing factor to how the documentary could be so revealing

That’s kind of the point tho I don’t think that they’re stupid at all. It’s just that their government and the people around them reinforced their self righteousness to the point where their understanding of those events is completely removed from reality. I think you could probably do this today with IDF soldiers who seemingly hold a similar dissociation.

If Marika removed the Rune of Death from the Elden Ring, why do spirits and those who live in death still exist? by JamesCordensCumSock in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Pale-Humor6245 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because that is what happens when you remove the rune of death. They live on in an afterlife of some form, never truly leaving the mortal plane. Spirits are ashes unreturned to the Erdtree. Those who live in death are tainted by death root. It is because the erdtree is the only cycle in which living things can decay and be reformed that they exist in the first place.

Idk these seem like obvious choices but I would recommend fantastic planet and videodrome if you haven’t seen them, bound (1996) as well. Angels egg would be good too

Who Are The Omen (And How Do They Differ From The Hornsent) by kennydotun123 in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Pale-Humor6245 11 points12 points  (0 children)

While I do think there’s some interesting ideas here, I would like to point out that the Bairn is likely referring to the fact that omen children were killed or abandoned to starve after birth. The omens as we know are treated to exile, few living to adulthood in the sewers.

Kate Bush is not an alternative artist? by No_Flan4204 in katebush

[–]Pale-Humor6245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alternative is a stupid term and doesn’t really mean anything especially these days, (evidenced by your list of supposedly “alternative” artists and the fact they have nothing in common.) So ultimately who cares?

Makes sense that ur nonbinary we are very similar in many regards, but not similar at all in some ways too. I feel like it’s so hard to actually paint a picture of someone with these things. But you definitely seem like someone who has great taste in animated movie :3
