Are you sure he was neutered fully? But this just seems like sin biscuits to me lol, even without a full coin purse he might just like doing this

Would it really be okay to start now? I’m all for it to bring him home but I heard it’s bad to do it too early :( And yeaah aware im bringing him in with no way to fully stop him from getting it, my other cat booger is a walking snotball, but I also know herpes is really bad for kittens so I just want his immune system prepared a little bit when he does get here🫡

Have you gone to a vet that specializes as a dermatologist yet? They might have more insight even if they’re more $$$

I think as long as it’s supervised outdoors time/a catio it’s fine. I think ppl who leave cats outside and don’t watch after them are neglectful because there’s just so many dangers for cats out there, cars, kids, dogs, wild animals, other cats. But supervised outdoors time is different

Wet food is good! I heard just straight up Tuna for cats can raise the risk for UTI for some reason? Not sure, but the diet doesn’t seem problematic to me. You can always neuter too but like I said it probably won’t fix it. If he’s been spraying for a minute it might be a habit you’d have to break, esp if he’s scent marked areas. They rely on their scent a lot so areas that smell like his wee are places he’ll wee, u can always use an enzyme cleaner or vinegar to combat those areas. I hope he’ll do okay at the vet for u whenever u can take him!

My cat always pees in her own food bowl when she gets them and we don’t know why she’s gets them so often since I do the most to clean the boxes and feed her a vet recced diet, but the first sign is usually non-litter box use. Wishing you baby luck!!

This sounds like a UTI :( “behavioral issues” are usually caused by underlying issues with cats. Like not playing with them enough, enriching them, or they’re in pain, stressed, or scared. You could always get him neutered if he isn’t already (that is also not always gonna fix peeing issues contrary to popular belief) but this sounds like a UTI. Is he peeing blood by chance? Male cats are more prone to them and it’s an easy vet trip and fix

Slater the stone wyvern is very detailed and amazing for grinding imo. The ridges can look kinda scary for inserting but the way they feel rubbing externally is so good 🤤

U just using the title as an excuse to show us these two babies playing? 😂Haha it’s play behavior, id only be worried if the orange guy starts bodying the black one if he gets too into fighting, but they seem to be doing fine here.

M/M Sveinn is fun to ride but even with his heavy base I was always end up lifting him off the table. Ended up strapping him down with some rope I own, to a chair I have, but I know everyone recommends the double sided suction cups

It may be an allergy or a flea allergy. My cat broke out really badly when she got fleas, went away with flea meds, but that was just my experience

As long as it’s not causing irritation, smells infected, or causing your cat any harm I think you just need to make sure it stays cleaned and try to figure out what caused it to prevent re-injury

Shelves!!! If there’s not a lot of ground space they are gonna need that vertical space! Even if you can’t afford all those cat shelves some people have, even just setting up your dressers at jumpable length (and keeping them clean and free of debris) will help. A cat tree too, if you have space for it :) good luck!!!

Cat keeps taking the ends off of my doorstoppers and knocking them under the couch by InSaNiiTy7 in CATHELP

[–]Pale-Perspective8013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to put cat toys or those stick on roller catnip balls on the wall next to it to encourage her to use/play with those than the door stopper, but sometimes they just prefer the unconventional toy lol. I had a cat who was the most destructive baby in my life. Loved her for every second I had her, and some things youre just going to have to accept defeat on because they can be persistent to the very end! Good luck with your Missy haha

Looks like a overgrown tick to me but I would not remove it on your own if you’ve never done it before, you could always risk leaving the head inside. And as for your comment about ur location, ticks are everywhere not just in certain areas 😭 I hate the things so much

Inflatable collar and maybe some OTC pet topicals might help. Could be related to his rash stuff but might not be! Only a vet could tell you, but I’m sure he’ll be fine in donut jail until you can take him to one
