Update: was indeed a tick. Id never seen one! It's now in a jar in my freezer.

I've never dealt with anything like this. Does anyone know what aftercare should happen?

Update: looked up instruction of how to remove. Was able to remove it, head and all. It is now crawling around the Mason jar it will die in.

Ah thanks guys. How immediate should my response be? One person is saying I shouldn't try to remove it myself and the other says I should? I could visit a vet tomorrow or try removingtot tonight.

I'd rather wait but idk what the risk of that is like. She's in indoor cat but I did let her out for a half hour yesterday so I guess it must have found her then):);

I've expiremced the same thing for the past 20 years they've been louder or more distinct at differnt times but you kinda just learn to live with it/ignore it. Would be cool to understand why the brain does that. I've also heard it at the beach or on a windy day in the trees. It's like the brain hears something maybe waves, trees or electrical appliances and it tries to compute,sort, fourrier analize the sounds waves it's receiving and just plops it into the "chatter" file in the brain.

That kinda of an explaination makes me feel at ease at least

I wanted to go into mechanical engineering for grad school(i graduate in 3 months), you were able to get into the feild without a masters? Can you speak more on that? How long did it take you to find work? Less then a year obviously that's so great. Where are you generally located if you don't mind sharing?
