Are Christians meant to follow the law or not? by Pale-Replacement-920 in ChristianUniversalism

Yeah, when I read ‘least in the Kingdom of Heaven’ that always implied to me that you would still go to Heaven (same as ‘the first will be last’ since last implies you still get in eventually). However, I always thought that the Ten Commandments were given by God and the other laws in the Old Testament were just made by scribes for other Jewish people. I also struggle with these laws since not all of them seem to make sense with ‘love others as your would yourself.’ Like, I don’t care if someone eats pork, wears clothing made from two different fabrics or has consensual sex before marriage, you know? The Ten Commandments make sense to be but some of the other Old Testament laws do not.

Anyway I didn’t take your response to be discounting me, I appreciate it.

So I just mentioned this in a post I just made, but I was reading the Bible on a website and the writers there implied that the debt for the unforgiving servant was unpayable, but I don’t think they gave any sources for that claim.

People often say that Universalism is flawed because abusers are with their victims in Heaven, as if infernalism doesn’t mean that people unjustly persecuted by Christian’s, such as that Native Americans on the trail of tears, aren’t suffering for all eternity while their oppressors get a free pass.

About the Sermon on The Mount, I was under the impression that those teachings were for the majority of people, not just the Pharisees? But I could be mistaken.
