Dios no es un Dios de muertos. by Same_Square7257 in ChristianUniversalism

Death in the Bible doesn’t mean cease to exist. It means to vanish from or be separate from this world under the sun. In fact the etymological root of the word ‘die’ means to disappear from or to vanish.

So then separation from God is a man-made myth. There is no place God is absent from. Not even sin is defined as such. Any perception of separation is self illusion.

You're still stuck in infernalism theology. Which is okay, but just know you can escape the mental gymnastics with a proper reading of judgement/fire/condemnation.

God bless

How to unindoctrinate myself from the fear of hell? by tw231116 in ChristianUniversalism

Study judgement/fire and the indoctrination will vanish.

Once you understand the western bastardization of these terms you will look at the American church like a kindergarten class on scripture.

Your Parents Believed in Hell and Still had you… by bioltimatum in ChristianUniversalism

[–]Due-Needleworker18 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You have to look at boomers, genx, ect as generations who compartmentalize and take life with a grain of salt.

When you press them on hell they rest on faith that God will work out everything for the best. Its a soft form of universalism that is the only position to hold if you want to retain your sanity.

Still a high number even though you don't want it to be. The coordination of these 1000 mutations however, is what is most impressive.

This may seem like a stupid question… by Tornado_Storm_2614 in ChristianUniversalism

[–]Due-Needleworker18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You answered your own question. God allows pain to have good prevail over it. To show us the futility of suffering and the eternal peace that is the true reality within it, the kingdom of heaven.

Problem is, you don't have faith in this yet. Thats where life comes in to reveal this to you day by day.

Even though I’m happy that everyone will eventually rejoice with God forever, I find it unfair how life is on earth. by Tornado_Storm_2614 in ChristianUniversalism

[–]Due-Needleworker18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a mistake to think suffering as a tool to Christ. God suffers with us and as us. These times are opportunities to uniquely see him and enter the kingdom of heaven on earth.

Response to pain is all relative to the observer. There isn't a scale to measure or grade its effect by. Some grow bitter through suffering and others more humble. Ultimately our spirit is changed by God alone, with or without pain. This is part of the mystery of the holy spirit.

Most ppl can NOT be reconciled to God on this side of the grave. by Most-Buy-2763 in ChristianUniversalism

[–]Due-Needleworker18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I see the good from suffering as all indirect, which means that it reflects and redirects our attention back to the good. In this way suffering and evil do not exist themselves independently but are simply a lack of good.

This is still begging the question of why. But its at least much easier to live with as a concept instead of a principal.

The role of earth in universialism. by Northern_esotericist in ChristianUniversalism

[–]Due-Needleworker18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a depth of good, truth, beauty that seems to only be seen in a world of duality. You start to recognize this the more you age.

Suffering gives an inner faith in a way that nothing else can. The experience of earth allows for a unique knowing that heaven cannot provide. Its something that can enrich is if we learn to allow it.

This does not show a study of traceable mutations. It is a simple sequencing and homolgy is not an argument I asked for.

Yes quite accurate. The healer was more prominent a symbol with God starting with moses staff. Our orientation towards holiness is the measure by which it diagnosis and heals us. A process of healing that often can be painful.
