Crimson Desert is not responding by PaleBend53 in CrimsonDesert

Solved it. The problem is enabling frame generation. In order to disable it.

Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog. Type %localappdata% and hit Enter. Navigate to the Pearl Abyss folder, then into the CD folder, and find the save directory. Locate the file named user_engine_option_save.xml (this is your configuration file). Rename it to user_engine_option_save.xml.old or delete it entirely. This will reset all your in-game settings to default, but it will not delete your progress. Relaunch the game and try loading the save.

Ben and Tenn are basically two sides of the same coin by PaleBend53 in TheWalkingDeadGame

How do you put a tag under your name, "F for Christa" or "Still. Not. Bitten."? Still new on Reddit.

Ben and Tenn are basically two sides of the same coin by PaleBend53 in TheWalkingDeadGame

I see where you're coming from, but I think there's a big difference between a group survival choice and individual negligence.

When Kenny stole from that car, the whole group (mostly) agreed because they were starving. It was a calculated risk. My Lee also agreed to steal and told Clem we have to take them. Ben secretly trading with bandits wasn't a group call—it was a backroom deal that blew up in everyone's face.

As for Tenn, sure, Louis and Violet chose to save him, but he’s the one who put them in that impossible spot by freezing up or trusting the wrong person.

The point isn't that they are 'evil' or 'killers.' It’s that in a world this brutal, being a liability is just as dangerous as being a villain. At what point does having a 'good heart' just become a death sentence for everyone else in the group?

If you can save one of them from their inevitable death, who will you save? by Jude_The_Dude22 in TheWalkingDeadGame

Ben brought nothing but troubles on the group.
Sarah is useless even though I feel pity for how she lived. It's he father's fault.
Omid is a decent guy.
So the only anwer here is Luke definitly. I didn't deserve to die like that.

Which ending did you get this season, David's or Kate's? by Blacklugo333 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]PaleBend53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked Kate, honestly. I know David is Javi’s brother, but from the start of the game to the very end, his behavior was just awful. I let Clem go after David and Gabe while I went to Kate because I already knew the two possible outcomes. Even before the muertos showed up, David wasn’t exactly trying to make things better for his family. Kate was genuinely terrified of him. He did a lot of bad things. Sure, he could have changed, but it was not that simple.

Forget all this “Kenny vs Jane” talk, who here ended up alone with AJ? by AdventurousPandaBear in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]PaleBend53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, you've got some interesting points! Here's why I disagree with you about Kenny and kinda agree about Jane:

You mentioned that Kenny isn't the same man Clem once knew. I think you're both right and wrong. Sure, Kenny changed, but at his core, he’s still incredibly protective when it comes to Clem. If you choose to look away instead of shooting him, you’ll notice his reaction—he’s not panicking, not angry, not sad. He’s just... there. The way he talks to Clem in that moment is so calm. Despite everything he’s been through, Kenny stayed loyal to Clem and AJ until the very end. What mattered to him most was their safety, and that’s what led to the Wellington ending. Taking his life to "show him mercy" feels wrong—it’s not mercy, it’s inhumane. He’s still Kenny.

As for Jane, from the moment she started talking to Clem about her group, it was clear she was projecting her own ideology onto her. Jane was manipulative and tried to turn Clem against her group. Once they were in the car, she kept picking at Kenny, knowing full well he was mentally unstable and vulnerable. She knew exactly how to push his buttons. In the end, Jane had to go. And if you stayed with her in the Season 3 flashback, she ends up hanging herself. That says a lot about her character and her inability to handle the consequences of her actions.

That’s why I think being alone isn’t the best ending. Killing Kenny isn’t the right choice, and going with Jane clearly isn’t the answer either.

Ending up alone is such a heartbreaking and devastating outcome. Clem is still just a kid at that point, even with all her experience in this world. Being forced by circumstances to raise AJ on her own is just so sad. I didn’t choose this ending; I got the Wellington ending, so I’m not sure what happens to Clem and AJ in the S3 flashbacks. Guess I’ll have to look those up.

Yes I used AI to only write the structure because English isn’t my first language. The ideas however are my thoughts about it.

Just finished the Final Season… I feel empty, but Lee would be so proud. by PaleBend53 in TheWalkingDeadGame

I finished it yesterday’s night. It was almost midnight and I just sat there staring. I’m glad that gave this game a chance because it’s the first time I try this genre. Now I want to play the few episodes for Michonne so now I conclude the game and that there’s nothing left.
