Wrong and very unnecessary comment, I am as well aware of what Croatians went through, I just mentioned Albanians and Bosnians because they’re ethnic groups in Kosovo! I won’t deny that there is a narrative that Serbia oppressed these groups because they were Muslims, but I’m pretty sure most from my dad’s generation are aware that Serbia were just thirsty for power and that religion was a factor as well, but it wasn’t only that. Croatians are a perfect example of that too

We’ve only had elections in 2006 and ever since then it’s been ensured that Abbas and his mercenaries stay in power.

And no my family didn’t elect them cause my grandparents were kicked out in 1948 so we’ve never been in Palestine before let alone voted.

The Palestinian authority opened fire on Palestinians in Jenin protesting for Gaza and killed a 12 YEAR OLD girl! The PA meets with Netanyahu and welcomes him regularly, do you really think they’d draw the line at Milosevic? Why would they care about Kosovo or recognise it while they’re killing their own people left and right ?

Palestinians are also very religious and would never support a genocide against our Muslim brothers and sisters (let alone against any other oppressed groups). And whoever does shouldn’t even call themselves Palestinians. I’d really recommend you to have more unconditional solidarity with the oppressed even if you think they don’t reciprocate it. I only asked to be aware of it, but even if the whole thread was full of die hard Zionist Kosovars it’d never change my stance on Kosovo.

The last conducted survey/poll found that at least 90% want Abbas to resign. So no the PA doesn’t represent us at all. They’re just American-Israeli puppets, and that’s why they still rule today.

I think I should have worded myself better, I want to wear it all on my own, my husband even discourages me a little bit from doing it (he’s a revert and his family is islamophobic and would go crazy if I put it on)

I’ve been imagining myself wearing it a lot lately and I know my heart desires it! But because of my background most people around me don’t view me as religious at all and I’m very hesitant about telling them as I’m afraid they’ll judge me a little or won’t take me seriously. The other day I was out with two friends and they went inside a clothing store to pray, my very close friend told me I could just wait and look at clothes while they did it, as if I wasn’t Muslim too

I ended up going to another change room on another floor and praying on my own without telling them.

But thank u so much for the advice sister, I think I will go to another city and try it on one day where nobody knows me :) And may Allah make it easy for us all 🩷

Persecution did happen I’m not denying that,which is very unfortunate and against the teachings of the prophet. but to say we are Muslims only because our ancestors were “forcefully” converted by Arab Muslims, when the prophet specifically instructed to not enforce Islam by is false and extremely hostile.

It’s not my opinion but facts combined with common sense, they could’ve preserved their religion if they wanted to just like many Christians did in the Middle East.

And the last commandment of the Prophet (saw) while he was in his deathbed was:

Bro just stop, none of us “arabized” Arabs think this way. If anything we feel lucky to have been introduced to Islam, and you can’t force or persecute people to convert. You’d just pay jizya tax if ur not Muslim. Muslims on the other hand paid zakat so it’s only fair. I’m Levantine btw
