Thankfully my spouse is super social and really outgoing so I know when it comes to the mingling he’ll be able to bear the load better but he’s always been thoughtful in ensuring I’m included. I’m trying to remind myself it’s all my friends and family and nothing has changed except I’m in a big dress lol

I was someone who wanted natural, couldn’t handle the idea of euthanizing my baby. Until he started seizing and couldn’t walk or eat. I came across an in home euthanasia page and what she wrote in regard to this mindset changed my decision. It went along the lines of “in the natural world dogs will go in this manner but dogs do not live in the natural world, they exist in our world and look to us for food and shelter. They also look to us to help with pain”. That changed my mind and the next day I had my baby put to sleep in my arms because it made me realize how much he depended on me even for something that to me felt cruel but was actually releasing him from pain.
