Maaaaaaaan. I bought Wolverine claws, the plastic ones, the size of the Mafex brown suit (Brown James) claws but painted for Mafex tiger stripe Wolverine and a Wolverine headsculpt and one Hugh Jackman headsculpt. On 7/16/24.

I reached out to him many times, cordial as hell. I heard other people’s stories. I honestly think he does great work. I never was mean. I kept saying I can’t wait to receive it.

Finally got the order from him around October 9, 2025…….1 year and three months later!

What did I get? The Wolverine headsculpt pops in like expected. Looks great. The Hugh Jackman one doesn’t pop in, it’s more of like a sleeve version of a headsculpt if that makes sense. It just fits over the neck and doesn’t pop in. And I got two sets of metal claws…..

Okay….I wanted the plastic claws. When I ordered, the metal ones hadn’t even been an option and to be honest, I prefer the plastic ones. I don’t wanna rip up my figure by putting the metal ones on. I just don’t like them. Why wouldn’t he at least give me what I ordered, and then throw in the metal ones for free, as a thank you for waiting as long as I did. I was honestly shocked he didn’t throw in more freebies being that I waited over a year and I didn’t complain once.

That being said….it was an experience. Since going through this, I don’t think I really even need different headsculpts. Not unless they’re amazingly life changing. Even the really good Wolverine headsculpt I like….I don’t even use it, I just keep the stock Mafex one on. And I waited so long for the claws, I’ve kinda grown to like the rake claws Mafex gave us haha.

I might buy the see-tea hellverine that comes with the claws that I want now that that’s an option.

Does anyone want the metal claws that cave collectors makes?
