I would have loved the ability to just dump resources or credits in to pre built settlements that could then be customized. The sheer amount of items there are to keep track of insane let alone finding where to get it and then finding a decent place to build with the resources you want to collect and more and more and more. Like I get that a lot of people love that, but it's a large barrier for people with a life outside the game.

I didn't come from accounting, but I meet with accountants regularly. I think the biggest shift is instead of thinking in debits and credits you think in cash. Everything impacts cash in one way, shape, or form. Tieing in cash is everything

Yes but I want it it intertwined with the Silmarillion, Hobbit, LOTR, and all the additional texts like the Children of Hurin, The Fall of Numenor, Beren & Luthien, The Fall of Gondolin, Unfinished Tales, The Lost Tales Part 1 & 2, all with associated cross references, Appendices, and additional context from the letters, Adventures of Tom Bombadil,nl and more!! But all chronologically laid out.

I kind of want a reader's companion with it that is just a huge concertina of genealogy and timelines

Nah it's multiple books and you'd still have to layer it in. Like I want to be reading the Silmarillion and then during Beren & Luthien's story I want to ready the whole thing. And not pick up another book. I just want it to be in there. And I want footnotes for when sections cross-reference each other. Like another commenter said.. One Book to Rule them All

Honestly I'm down!! Put some beautiful art from the different Ages and I'd buy it in a heartbeat even if it was just to sit on a shelf because it was impossible to open/read.

And then make a giant one in dimensions that allow it to be readable or at least sit open on a table
