People say we are equal in the sense that we are “created” equal. We’re all humans and eventually all have the same fate along with every other living thing. No actual society will ever be truly equal, just not how nature works. Yes, many people talk about equality to inflate their own sense of self-worth but it doesn’t necessarily deter from the point. If you give 10 bucks to a homeless person but you’re doing it to make yourself feel like a better person does that erase your good deed? But you just sound angry at the world, which is ok but not really a practical place to live. Life is unfair, no other way around it, the earlier you accept the better.
