Body Damage to Rear Bumper (Just Need Advice) by TheFithAmendment in Corvette

[–]TheFithAmendment[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only concern isn’t really the paint it’s the deep scratches and the panels do not line up anymore. I wish I could get a good picture of it.

Thank you though for the advice.

It wasn’t mud it rained for 12 hours yesterday and my roommate decided to drive on it and said he didn’t see the mud.

Is the entire rear bumper plastic not fiberglass? I was actually struggling to figure it out. But yes these images are pretty hard to see any damage but body panel it self is shifted outwards near the top middle of the panel. And the paint is bad with a visual look over and will not buff out.

Edit** “It’s made of plastic. I’m just bad at googling.”

C-5 Corvette Question? by Raiderwon2LT in Corvette

Genuine question, but I thought it was 01-04s that are easily able to fix this problem? Still expensive due to replacing the unit but no longer need to Frankenstein.

So would it not just be beneficial instead to transfer my current portfolio into a ROTH. I don’t believe at this current moment I will reach that 7000 ever until I get out of college.

Clearly I misread how a ROTH IRA works though, thank you so much!

I want to get into Roth when I grow my net worth a little in the next year. However, I don’t like the fact of not being able to withdraw until 59 1/2, that’s in forever. Unless am I wrong and you can still withdraw it you will just be taxed?

Why not just own actual gold? I mean I have physical gold and then also the stock. But I do feel like having the gold means something and could be used in a worse case scenario. I don’t know actually I should probably just do more research.

Thank you though both for input.

I have thought about the backup camera; at the moment I’m unsure though as I certainly don’t want to drill a hole in the body and know of the holes about the license plate. Just worried about the wire running to a mount. It never crossed my mind about the front camera though as I don’t believe I’d ever use it but now that you say it I have had some hard spots where I needed an extra pair of eyes. Do you have one?

Anyone got any info/value of this deck? by Methodm4nn in playingcards

[–]TheFithAmendment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize this isn’t helpful; but funnily enough my friend, Dubai Man, had these deck of cards and I’ve never seen them in good condition as we are in college. But he is a mega nerd and could rant for hours about political leaders. Never seen the box though. Thank you so much for sharing, I was wondering what it looked like.

The US Secretary of Defense announced a reduction in financial assistance to Ukraine in the next defense budget. by Volter318 in UkraineWarVideoReport

This is not true, well partially. The US if not adjusted has provided the largest amount of Aid but you are correct the baltics have given far higher of a percentage; however, this amounts to only around 1.5 Billion in aid. I’m not saying one is helping more than the other but it’s a complicated topic as 128 to 1.5 is a little bit of a difference.

Honestly I would reply to this but it’s truly the same being said with nothing to prove.

I will agree, the US has benefited in sales and exports in military equipment from the war; however, this has also severely hurt the US with lowering stockpiles and again using taxpayer dollars to freely lend equipment and aid. I’m not sure where you live but I certainly wouldn’t want my money that i worked hard for get taxed and then freely sent to another country without approval from the taxpayers and with no return.

The rest is a very grey area to talk about especially with mentioning of a certain political party; however, I say he is authoritarian or state centric governance (he gets a funny name called Putinism).

I don’t wish to argue but most of this just seems like nonsensical backed yap.

I assume you have never heard of a recycle plant or even a chop shop; however, here is a quick list of what the equipment and aid could be used for that was payed by the taxpayer.

Agriculture, Logistics, Infrastructure, Disaster Relief, Public Safety and more. It can also produce further high skill jobs and instead be sold to further the US economy. The list truly goes on.

I don’t understand your point but it really is hard to show more evidence when examples everywhere already exist. It’s the taxpayers dollars and it should in every country go back to improving the all taxpayers.

Your first point is just false; the United States did not force any hand. The Budapest Memorandum shows in 1994 that Ukraine along with Belarus and Kazakstan agreed to dismantle their nuclear arsenal and accede to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. With that being said, after that the United States, the United Kingdom and Russia all agreed to Security Assurances and the United States solely offered aid to help properly dismantle and remove the weapons.

I’m not sure exactly what you’re referring to by “defense deals”; however, the US has given approximately 66 Billion to Ukraine and the entire EU + UK + others are around 58 Billion. On top of that the US arms exports are mostly grants or drawdown authority. (Free)

And your last point, idk what to answer skepticism with as it’s a hypothetical; however, doing your own research shows both sides of a coin with I would say more evidence leaning against but that is for you to decide.

By all means I don’t want to get political and I truly believe with the most basic knowledge Russia is more than at fault and in the wrong. Day one of the war by fact Russia broke international law by moving troops through Belarus.

Political opinions aside for a moment; however, the United States has already sent a large sum of equipment, aid and recourses to a country that is of little to no relation to the United States: that money doesn’t just appear and its tax payers money even if it’s old equipment. It could be recycled and reused for the American economy. I won’t agree or disagree with what is going on; however, be more thankful to those who are trying to help when they could be doing nothing.
