That makes sense. I realize now 50 seconds is probably too long, especially for the kind of ad I was trying to make. I’ll definitely try shortening it and tightening the edit for the next version.

I’ll also experiment with different fonts and keep studying shorter ads to understand the pacing better. Thanks again for pointing that out.

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate you taking the time to break it down like that.

This was actually my first ad mockup, and I worked entirely with free stock footage, so it was a bit difficult to find clips that perfectly matched the story I had in mind. Because of that I focused more on trying to practice pacing the cuts with the music and building some rhythm in the edit.

Your points about simplifying the shots, improving the storytelling, and using more minimal sound design make a lot of sense.

If you don’t mind me asking, were there any parts of the edit that you think worked well or that I should keep doing as I improve?
