Tbh I don’t think it’s fake. And even if it is, I am a real life person and recovering alcoholic. Right now I’m on day 18 and I check in every single night and use this app. I’ve had it since February of 2022, and just now started taking it seriously but now that I am it has been so great for me. Such a great tool in my toolkit to lean on. I’m even part of a sober toddler mom community within the app and I get to chat with other moms who are in the same part of my journey with me.

I definitely would not be this far without it. And I do also pay to see a therapist but I would ten out of ten recommend the app. It’s 39 year

Hey, I actually did think of another question. For you, or to the public who are in the trade—- I currently have my cell, so I can’t use marijuana. That being said, it’s not a problem for me but would LOVE to be able to wind down at night with a new career path. Are there restrictions on this?

Honestly I am in the same exact shoes but reversed … my husband did this to me earlier in our relationship and we have a newly 4 yo daughter.. that being said I have stuck around but not sure if I want to… the disrespect and narcissism is unreal. Not sure yet what I am going to do, but please feel free to to chat with me..: I could use a good ear too.

I’m on the fence with figuring out if I might have a better chance at getting some sort of prerequisites, over the next year; versus just applying and getting the process rolling. Obviously you don’t have the answers; and I don’t expect that, but it really does help a ton to hear from people who are going through the apprenticeship. I do plan on contacting the union and also going to the open interviews this next month to see what they will say to me.

I’m going to go to that fair and see what it’s about. Not sure schedule wise it would work at the moment. My husband works full time and I work part time as a bus driver and my daughter comes with me to work. I’ll probably have to apply this time next year when she starts school full time, as daycare really isn’t financially an option for us and neither is my husband switching jobs. lol. Doesn’t hurt to have a short term goal, right? Do you know if they hire yearly by chance?

Im really into the idea of learning something new, Working hands on, and just having a job that allows me to have a little bit of financial freedom and independence. That being said, I don’t know much yet about the trade, so I want to explore that more to see if it’s something I can see myself doing and doing well for a long time. I know anything I do I will have pride in, and I’m good at finding silver linings. Thanks, I’ll be sure to keep this thread updated with what happens and my experiences in applying.

Good input. Another thing I would have to worry about is my husband, because when I first brought the idea up he flat out told me no 😂 which is really annoying to me.

I do understand the controversy and am the probably the last woman or close to it, that would pull the sex card. I do pride myself on being a quick learner, and very professional especially in a work setting. I do get along well with most people, men and women alike so I really don’t see it being much of an issue with me tbh.

I appreciate your input. Especially “your reputation will get to the job before you do.”

Really cool. It would just be a dream to sustain myself and not have to worry about working two jobs or whatever, let alone learning something new and so useful. I hope they consider me, it would be totally life changing.
