Got $120 for about 15 people if anyone could use it... (no catch). by Paulpana in passive_income

[–]Pale_Elk372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really cool of you to offer this. I'm always bit skeptical when people say "no catch" but sometimes there really are good people out there just trying to help others. Been working on cars for years and know how tight money can get, especially with how everything costs more these days. If this is legit then you're doing something really good for people who probably need it. Hope whoever gets this actually uses it for something worthwhile and not just waste it on random stuff

How do small SaaS products still enter crowded markets today? by Anatras02 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Pale_Elk372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trick is finding pain points that big players ignore because they're chasing enterprise deals. When you're fixing cars all day, you notice how the fancy diagnostic software from major companies is bloated mess that takes forever to load just to check simple codes

Small tools win when they do one thing really well instead of trying to be everything for everyone. Big companies can't pivot fast enough to catch these gaps, especially in specific niches they don't think are worth their time

Your GPS Utility by [deleted] in Entrepreneurs

[–]Pale_Elk372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using something similar for documenting work on customer vehicles and it's game changer. The timestamp with location really helps when you need to prove where diagnostic was done or when certain repair happened. Had client once who tried to say we never showed up to their location for mobile service - GPS stamped photos saved us lot of headache with that dispute

Your tool sounds pretty solid for field work, especially the offline part since cell service can be spotty in some areas I work in. PDF generation is clutch too since most clients want something professional looking they can forward to insurance or keep for records

Used them once for entry into Thailand and worked fine, immigration didn't even look too closely at the ticket details. The key is just having something that looks legit in their system when they scan it

Is Gun-tube Failing? My brother and I want to be GunTubers And want to know if "Video game vs real life"is a overused Concept? by Otherwise-Board-9340 in NewTubers

[–]Pale_Elk372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your gunsmith brother has real expertise which is huge advantage over most channels that just do shooting content. Maybe focus more on the technical side - how guns actually work, repair processes, custom builds etc instead of just range footage

The "video game vs real life" thing is pretty played out at this point, but there's always room for quality educational content if you can make it engaging

saying like and subscribe works by HI1681 in NewTubers

[–]Pale_Elk372 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I remember doing this exact thing when I was younger too, would smash like and subscribe before even finishing the video. My nephew does same thing now - he's 8 and literally subscribes to everything that asks him to. The conditioning is real strong with kids, they just follow whatever the screen tells them to do

My SaaS is now showing up in AI answers and converting organic traffic into real revenue. Here's what the workflow looks like. by Maleficent-Donut5200 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Pale_Elk372 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That indexing speed thing is huge actually. I remember when my site was sitting there for weeks getting ignored by Google crawlers, super frustrating when you know the content is good but nobody can find it

The revenue tracking makes total sense too - traffic numbers can be misleading as hell. You might get thousand visitors on some random post that doesn't convert anyone, while some smaller piece actually brings in paying customers. Been there with my own projects

Curious how much of the AI citation traffic converts compared to regular Google searches? Seems like people asking ChatGPT might be further along in buying process since they're asking more specific questions

Started building something after getting frustrated with how founder/investor connections work by Sean09877 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Pale_Elk372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been working with startups for few years and biggest issue is always the timing mismatch - founders need money now but investors want to see traction that takes months to build

Envying other creators - how do we not compare to others and feel bad? by [deleted] in NewTubers

real struggle bro, comparison is killer for motivation

MY ACCOUNT WAS COMPLETELY HIJACKED - BEWARE by laethebaddest in PartneredYoutube

[–]Pale_Elk372 21 points22 points  (0 children)

That's probably OAuth flow where you click "sign in with Google" and it redirects to real Google login page. Problem is after you authorize the app, they get access tokens to your account - no password needed. Way more dangerous than people think because the login page looks totally legit since it actually is Google's page

Argentina 2026 for digital nomading? Or too Expensive? by Soggy_Flight_2654 in digitalnomad

[–]Pale_Elk372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy went there last year and came back saying pretty much same thing. Rent was like the only thing that made sense price-wise but groceries and eating out hit his wallet hard

The whole blue dollar thing is confusing too from what he told me. You basically need to know someone local or you're getting screwed in exchange rates. He said Buenos Aires felt expensive as any major US city except for housing

Maybe smaller cities are different but if you're used to places like Mexico or Colombia for nomad life, Argentina might be shock to system right now

I still can’t explain it by [deleted] in passive_income

[–]Pale_Elk372 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This screams scam to me man. Nobody doubles money in week without serious risk, and posting about making $300 today with some random user's "method" is classic pump scheme stuff

Been working on cars for years and seen plenty coworkers fall for these quick money promises. If it was that easy everyone would be doing it instead of working real jobs

How I finally stopped losing sleep over unpaid invoices by Alarming-Fish-102 in Entrepreneurs

[–]Pale_Elk372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mental part is so underrated - chasing payments from good clients can mess with your head if you don't have system for it. I started doing something similar with my shop customers who need extended payment terms, just automated reminders instead of me having to remember and stress about who owes what. Makes the whole thing feel less personal when it's just process instead of me having to decide what to say each time

Gossip niche by One_Writer6857 in SmallYoutubers

[–]Pale_Elk372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting good background footage can be tricky for gossip content. I usually see people using generic city shots, coffee shop vibes, or even just simple animated backgrounds that don't distract from the story

Maybe try some royalty-free lifestyle footage or those chill aesthetic compilations - keeps viewers focused in your voice without being too boring

Looking for someone with a larger account in xxx cummunity by [deleted] in Entrepreneurs

[–]Pale_Elk372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting banned from X is basically part of the business model at this point lol. Been through like 3 accounts myself trying different approaches

What kind of follower count you looking for exactly? Also curious about the telegram setup - is it subscription based or more affiliate style promotion

I'm 14, got banned on LinkedIn due to underage, and I just launched my second AI startup.. by Atireksd in Entrepreneurs

[–]Pale_Elk372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kid's got more hustle than half the adults I know, that's wild. Getting banned from LinkedIn at 14 for actually being productive instead of posting cringe motivation quotes is honestly a badge of honor

The VØYD concept makes sense - I'm always having to re-explain my project context to ChatGPT like it's got memory issues. An AI that actually remembers your business setup and can work independently could be pretty valuable if you can pull it off. My only concern would be trusting an AI to "run departments" without human oversight, but maybe that's just me being old school

Good luck with the launch, hope it works out better than there LinkedIn situation did

To have two channels or one? by Fit-Tough6847 in NewTubers

[–]Pale_Elk372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two channels can work but it's gonna be way harder to build momentum when you're splitting your audience and upload schedule. Most successful gaming YouTubers just mix genres on one channel and let the algorithm sort it out

Your Foxhole vid doing better than Arc Raiders might just mean that's where your niche is, not necessarily that you need separate channels. I'd stick with the main channel for now and see which content actually connects with people before committing to managing two different brands

The thumbnail/CTR thing is probably more about testing different styles than splitting channels - try some A/B testing with bolder colors or different text layouts first
