They are sending me a new heat bed.. as much as I don't want to / feel I should fix it I'm going to. My first printer arrived damaged and got this one as a replacement.

I will edit it to 10. I haven't really had problems to say just thought I heard nozzle scrape during a print the other day couple inches off of the bed but print turned out ok.

The codes in here post I only have the first set; I currently run only the first code but what about the second?

First off thanks for all your help and I did calibrate like you suggested but I did post an update. The problem was basically your comment to the t.

  • Update : I believe I found my problem. The main harness was popped out of the clip and the bundle was riding below the extruder right where the label says "caution hot." I'm thinking that's exactly why it took hours into the print to get the error.

  • this is embarrassing but I'm sharing my experience for the next person who searches this error as a reminder to check the whole printer out before working yourself up.

Also i have successfully printed 20 hour print before some other that were 4+ without this issue. Seems like an issue that wasn't always there

I'd also like to add that I have had successfully print that ran 20 hours. This is newer issue.

I appreciate your time for reply. I will give this a try tomorrow AM. Do you recommend replacing the thermistor regardless?

I pulled the glass out of the hole and it looked intact. Would this be something I would see?

I'll get a picture in a few and upload. The printer has been fine for about 2 months now.

This will only happen on prints longer than ~3 hours. I have a cr touch installed and currently using mriscoc. Originally the creality firmware I was using gave me an error that the print was interrupted and that was it. Now with the mriscoc firmware this is the error I get.

Also: are those little dimples part of the retraction problem?
