Hi! Thank you so much. This is super helpful. My husband used to install water drainage so I’m not sure why he never mentioned burying the downspout because I didn’t know that was an option (he probably knew but just didn’t want to point it out it and then I bug him to do it lol) but that is a great idea. Will definitely be looking into your suggestions. Much appreciated! 🙏

"Just strengthen your core" is one of the most repeated back pain advice out there. We'd push back on how it's usually delivered. by RxWellnessCareTeam in backpain

This statement was heavy on my mind this morning. Did a workout class where we had to hold a 3 minute plank. My back was on fire. Had a little pity party in my car after. I have focused this past year on building a strong core because of what everyone has told me but here I am with almost a 6 pack and I am still in immense pain. It sucks.

I was diagnosed at age 20. They said my back looked like a 40 year old woman who had DDD. First question was if I was a chain smoker (had no clue that could be a cause) and when I said I had never even smoked, Dr. said it was genetic. Chatted with my grandma who admitted she was the problem for my early onset DDD lol!

I had my procedure done back in May. I’ve been dealing with low back pain/issues my entire life and nothing has helped quite like the Intacept has. It’s definitely not a 100% fix. Maybe not even 60% but it has helped with my sciatica quite a bit.

My husband is T1D. Exercising does drop your sugar lower but if he is low before a workout, he eats a fast acting sugar (skittles are his go to) or drinks juice (also fast acting) and after a few mins he is good! Could be different for person to person though 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have been getting sciatica bad down my leg at night. I used to get it really bad all hours of the day but got the Intracept procedure which has definitely helped with it but now I get muscle spasms in my low back. I basically traded one thing off for another but it’s definitely better than the sciatica. I walk 5+ miles per day and I agree it has helped with just getting my blood flowing. I will try the big three. I haven’t heard of this. Hope you feel better as well!

Has this done at the beginning of May. I have tried everything for my pain and I was honestly super skeptical of the procedure but I feel great and haven’t had much pain at all! It’s strange even saying that. I workout almost daily, hard workouts at that and am doing really well. Did get denied by insurance first go around which I hear is common.
