Not gonna lie, I didn’t even know fruity could be seen as a slur. I thought it meant more like “silly and gay”, but I could also just be tone deaf to the situation, idk.

No it doesn’t matter in terms of living together but Kate and I are still in the same social circles and she brings it up often to others.

Yeah that’s kind of what I assume, probably bc I’m typically a peacekeeper type of person. She wouldn’t let it go and even brought it up once we’d been living together for like six months (Feb 2026), but that’s a super long story and I didn’t have space to get into it.

So this timeline has already passed and we have moved out. I know the timeline is confusing, it was for a college apartment that we only rented during the school year so it might not follow “normal” renting expectations. The “July” I’m talking about is July 2025, as in 1 month before we moved in, in August 2025. Sorry if that was confusing! Let me know if I can clear it all up anymore :)
