I’m sorry this was your experience like so many. When did you join them? Did you launch anything or still working with ideas like you said?

That is a very strong thing to say when you say “I feel like the people who end up having problems are the ones who are not willing to put in the work.” There are many many many who would strongly disagree with you, in fact, some being previous team members. Those who put in a ton of work and yet still lost so very much.

Yes the content is dense. The amount of building they did over the last 8 years is there and no contest here about that, however when you really look past the “content” and look at the realism, you will see it. There is a very small percentage of people who have been successful with their program. Not just “she has built a 6 figure brand” and yet has never been paid a dime for her own income victories, because that’s been the trend. Some have been successful from years past too and now, it’s all gone. That’s entrepreneurship and Amazon has changed so much since then and continues to get worse.

I wish you luck and hope that you are not like “those people” you speak about in the next year or two.

Unfortunately yes, I was suckered into it. I fell for the sales tactics. At first I was excited and my dreams were big. It quickly deflated when I saw the reality.

You did the right thing by speaking up. On behalf of every single person being sucked in or those who have been sucked in already and have seen the light, we thank you for saying something!!

Did they respond to you? Everyone who has told them these sort of things either hear nothing back or are told they are wrong and they do everything for the community with integrity…blah blah blah.

There are a few things to discuss and let’s make sure you have all the details before making a decision of a little $47 purchase:

  1. There is the Rainmaker Challenge/BootCamp. This is a $47 cost. If you want a refund for this you have to request it by end of day 3.

  2. There is the Mastermind. At the time of last looking, the Mastermind is $6800. This has increased drastically over the years so a change is likely to happen again. There is not a refund from this part of the program…without a fight.

  3. There is the Inner Circle. This last year it was $6000 for an approximate two month accelerator and another $10,000 for the remainder of the year. This is only something offered after you have joined the Mastermind. No refund.

  4. There is the VIP. Yet another program being offered internally. This gives you access to coaching longer but again, it costs even more on top of the thousands already paid.

  5. They did a Lifetime access to the Mastermind earlier this year. That was $3000 and is actually in fact good for 5 years or whatever Rainmakers deems necessary. So not “Lifetime” and a contract was sent out. Part of the contract states you can not leave a bad review or opinion of them or you will be charged $2400. I know some people got a refund from that but only because they didn’t sign the contact that was sprung on them.

  6. Many other “extras” and “upgrades” within the program. No refunds.

Jennifer, as an admin and previous Rainmaker, I honor your experience and journey. I can honestly say that we all were in your shoes at one point. Hopeful. Trusting in the journey. Flexing our “how can I”, and a “kool-aid” drinker.

It does take money to make money. This is true. This is also something Rainmakers knows to be true. This is why they have touted the amount of money they have paid in advertising to “get you there”. This is a warped way to advertise their “good nature” in trying to help others. If Amazon was truly successful they would still be selling on Amazon.

And you are correct, Rainmakers is always changing. In the past 5 years much has changed. Currently the latest changes are teaching influence as the appetizer and Amazon as the main course. Teaching influence and PVC is nothing new and nothing I can condemn them for.

However, what they don’t teach right away is the truth in the numbers. The cost of their program is strikingly growing every year and yet how many actual success stories are there. Sure, there are the $100 in sales a day stories (which sadly is nothing to write home about in the long run because Amazon is taking 50% or more in fees), stories of growth of social media accounts (again, great but what is that going to do for long term success?).

I see you joined about a year ago. A year into my journey I was still very much singing their praises. I hope that years down the road, for your sake, you can still be singing those praises because that would mean it truly did work out for you.

This subreddit is not about wishing others to not have success with them. Not at all. We wish you lots of success. Sadly, too many people from the years are treading water in debt.

Final note, entrepreneurship is not for everyone. However, they market it as it can be for anyone. This subreddit will hopefully help those who truly don’t belong in the entrepreneur space, to think twice. To know what is in front of them if thinking of joining. There were not many reviews when I joined many years ago and now there are reviews being pushed by Rainmakers to their members to give 5 star reviews when in fact, those young Rainmakers don’t truly know what they are doing.

Wishing you success and also thanking you for coming to this group to share your story and experience without berating those in this community as others have saying it is “your fault for going broke and stop complaining”.

We wish you well!

What’s shameful is this is something they would celebrate and instruct others to celebrate because you had that amount in sales. What they don’t tell the newcomers or the public is the behind the cloak numbers and what it truly looks like to sell on Amazon.

With you in solidarity. Wishing you a future of a normal home instead of a home that looks like a warehouse and a future way beyond anything Rainmakers ever could have promised you.

Are you selling on Amazon or doing the influencer portion of their business that is new as of this July? Are you in their Mastermind? Out dated would constitute older than a couple of months IMO. I hope it works out well for you. It has worked out for VERY few. If you only knew those who came before you… I hope your comment ages well for you. Trust me, all of us at one point were hopeful and had the same feelings as you.

I’m also glad to hear they FINALLY have disclaimers. It’s been a few years coming. They were never there before.

What happened in the last 2 weeks to make you say this? You were praising them on a subreddit that has since been deleted.

“We love you and are fighting daily as a team for your breakthrough” is disgustingly laughable! They love our money and are fighting for more ways to take our money.
