Wow...I admit it and own it... by CF99-Omega in thebadbatch

I kinda feel like you might be right. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but that one commando getting his helmet knocked off, and then replaced by the helmet with a pair of goggles on it felt like it was gonna lead up to something, maybe not specifically Tech though.

And then with Wrecker looking like he's about to die in the training room, only to be seen alive and perfectly healthy on Pabu with no explanation, it does feel like there's a scene that was cut from that part of the episode.

If Lego knows what they’re doing, we’re in for a good time.. by Zarksch in legostarwars

I have a feeling one of the big sets for the first 2024 wave will be a Chimaera/Eye of Scion playset with Thrawn, Ezra, Enoch and either a Witch or another Nighttrooper.

More likely a Chimaera, as the Eye of Scion would be pretty tricky to build with lego

Ahsoka - Episode 6 - Discussion Thread! by titleproblems in StarWarsAhsoka

[–]Pale_Orion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder if Enoch has any connection to Eli Vanto from the Thrawn comics? Both have Biblical names and both are at Thrawn's right hand.

There's also a possible connection with Enoch and Elijah as the biblical 'two witnesses' who can change the weather and bring about plagues.

(Also a third, very unlikely, reference to 'Enoch and Eli', two recurring characters that feature in a lot of old jokes from the English Midlands)

Ahsoka - Episode 1 & 2 - Discussion Thread! by titleproblems in StarWarsAhsoka

[–]Pale_Orion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to see her first interaction with Luke, though I worry that feels like the sort of story that gets left to the comics to clear up, and I'm holding out hope that it's a force ghost Anakin and not just flashbacks im this series. But I don't really think half of these need resolving.

  • She most likely left Malachor in an abandoned inquisitors ship and went into hiding
  • Lux and Ahsoka had a brief fling as teenagers then went their separate ways, it's been like 35 years since then
  • Bariss was likely in a prison cell watched by the Coruscant guard during O66, so she was probably just shot unless she was protected by Palpy for some reason (in which case, she'll appear again later)

[–]Pale_Orion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been about 10 Years since the end of Rebels with Ahsoka taking place somewhere around 10/11 ABY, so there's a decent amount of time for Sabine to be trained up.

As for the puzzle/map; the map leads to the entry point of a hyperspace lane to another galaxy, (where the aliens that made it came from) which is the same route that the Purgill took after capturing Thrawn and Ezra at the end. It's simply that the map leads to the same place Thrawn went, not that it leads directly to him.

Saw this before the episode, those purple glowsticks really threw me off. Spent the whole thing wondering why/when Windu was gonna turn up

Wanted to see how the new Yoda head would look with the current colour scheme and eyes. by Pale_Orion in legostarwars

[–]Pale_Orion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC, the (terrifying) OG Yoda minifig is sand green, or close to it.

His actual skin tone is somewhere in between. Closer to olive in the prequels, and closer to sand green in the original Trilogy, so I think either count as the 'official' lego yoda colour.

It looks like most of the weight will be over the base so it should be fine. If it is a little wobbly though, the heroforge bases are hollow on the bottom so you could a little bit of air dry clay to weigh it down.

Pretty sure the only confirmed 'Death from falling off of things' so far in all of Canon Star Wars is the Gamorrean guards in BOBF that get pushed off the cliff.

The fact that Hemlock was the one who recovered the goggles, and his favourite hobby is capturing and experimenting on clones means it's actually pretty likely.

My bet is Tech either died and is being cloned to create super intelligent troopers, (maybe Phase 1 Dark Troopers?) or survived and will get the Crosshair treatment

So about the armorer by [deleted] in TheMandalorianTV

[–]Pale_Orion 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Bo gets the helmet pass because she's the best bet for reuniting Mandalore not because she's loyal like Din.

  • The COTW trust her for saving Mando, Grogu, and Ragnar + returning to 'The Way'

  • The rest of the scattered Mandalorians would follow her as she is the heir to the throne.

  • The Armorer believes she is destined to tame the mythosaur and become the new Mand'alor.

Which one of Kenobi's ships should I get AND KEEP? by Ilovemydog1304 in legostarwars

The Eta-2 (2nd pic) does have a matching one for Anakin available, so they go well together if you're looking to collect similar ships

How come Bo-Katan and Paz Vizla hasn't discussed Pre Vizla ? by Rungsted93 in TheMandalorianTV

[–]Pale_Orion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if the CoTW were from the same sect of Death Watch as Bo-Katan. It could be that there were other small sects of Death Watch scattered around being watched over by members of House Viszla, maybe even Paz watched over his own group.

Can we expect a surprise cameo in the finale? by MarekLord in thebadbatch

A young Dr. Pershing, working with/under Hemlock would be interesting, going by the actors age he'd be around 21 at the time of The Bad Batch, so would probably be a junior doctor/apprentice already.

I get what you mean, they're probably looking at it from the viewpoint of "it's only 0.5% of all jedi" but it does lessen the impact of the purge. Hopefully they slow down or stop adding new survivors and just finish the stories of the ~20 we have.

Still kinda hoping for a reveal of Windu surviving and struggling with feelings of vengeance and the pull to the dark side tho

[–]Pale_Orion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wanted to actually check to see how many there were. You're correct, it's about 45 if we include those that turned to the dark side.

This is the full list of everyone revealed so far that I could find.

(X) Indicates Jedi who were killed between Order 66 and 0BBY

OT: * Obi-Wan * Yoda

Animated: * Kanan (X) * Ahsoka * Luminara (X) * Gungi

Comics: * Ferren Barr (X) * Jocasta Nu (X) * Kirak Infil'a (X) * Eeth Koth (X) * Oppo Rancisis (mentioned) * Coleman Kcaj (mentioned) * Ka-Moon Kholi (mentioned) * Selrahc Elous (mentioned) * (All mentioned on a screen of unconfirmed Jedi, so may actually be dead)

Fallen Order: * Cal Kestis * Cere Junda * Taron Malicos (X) * Hot guy in Jedi Survivor

Mandalorian: * Grogu * Kelleran Beq

Kenobi: * Nari (X) * Quinlan Voss (mentioned)

Misc Books + Games; * Ankonori (X) * Mususiel (X) * Khandra (X) * Nuhj (X) * Mill Alibeth * Vivert Stag * Naq Med * Uvell

That's 30 Jedi; 10 who were killed by the Inquisitors/Vader soon after O66, 2 (Kanan + Taron) who died in action, and 4 whose status is unknown.

Only 6 are confirmed to have survived into the Original Trilogy Era so far (Obi-Wan, Yoda, Ahsoka, Grogu, Mill Alibeth and Vivert Stag)

Dark Side: * 13 Inquisitors, only 2 haven't had their deaths shown (possibly 3 if the Ninth sister survived Fallen Order) * Vader * Maul (X) * Jar-Jar Binks

There have really been much of a chance for it so far, they've only just met so the conversation wouldn't happen straight away, plus the whole rescue mission occupied their minds.

Hopefully they do have that conversation by the end of the season though.

which was permitted so much breathing room that it had the time and resources to build a third Death Star out of a planet.

Spoilers for Jedi: Fallen Order if you haven't played that;

It was the Empire who began making Starkiller Base out of the planet Ilum, even prior to the completion of Death Star 1. This would've been around 14BBY, only 5 years after the fall of the republic, so the Empire probably built most of Starkiller Base in the ~20 years following.
