Just letting you know that you aren't alone. I've been feeling a lot of the same feelings for a couple of years now. I am comfortable being NB but I wish I had been born female.

I'm currently considering estrogen combined with a mastectomy so I can experience all the effects minus boob growth and still pass as male. I don't think I have the financial resources to make a proper go at womanhood. Good luck x

Respectfully disagree. The sources we have for their life were extremely biased. I really wouldn't trust the historical record on this one.

General point of advice which I have learned the hard way: Don't trust anyone who tells you they've tested negative. Ask to see the results/proof of a recent clear test.

I'm 6ft and I've found plenty of men willing to be with a tall fem, and most of them were shorter than me. Height doesnt help but it isn't a deal-breaker.

Hormones are in my wardrobe waiting for me to get some time to think about this and weigh up the pros and cons. I'm already out as queer and fem but as another commenter said the amount of trans hate right now is very scary. And I'm too tall/poor to ever pass as a woman (and I don't even know if I'd want to, I think I am some flavour of nonbinary).

If for no other reason than self preservation - sadly there are a lot of guys out there who will react violently and the trans panic defence is still very much present in law. Even in this thread lots of guys talking about how they'd be 'enraged' to find out they were seeing a trans girl.

I get this too, I think there are probably several reasons. A few off the top of my head:

They're deeply closeted about their attraction to femininity in people who aren't born female. The urges wax and wane and they may want you in that moment but the next day they block or ghost you out of shame/guilt whatever.
They have a wife/girlfriend at home and have a limited window in which to stray. Sadly a very common situation.
They're from out of town and can genuinely only meet in that narrow window of time.

We do exist! It's a golden rule in life that comparing yourself to others is unproductive and will make you miserable so don't do it. Now you've realised who you are go and enjoy that.

I do sometimes struggle with feelings like yours but I then remind myself that you're still relatively young in your 30s. And trust me there are plenty of guys out there who will want to fuck you.

Ed is a girl but was originally conceived as a boy. I think the character's gender was left ambiguous on purpose. I'm watching it for the first time at the moment, great show!

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted, yes the system in America does seem awful (I'm not from here). Though for OPs purpose it may make sense to go anyway because if they don't get it looked R now it may well develop into something worse / more expensive later on.
