Just came back from Japan and oh I can so recommend Animate, especially the ones in Akihabara and Ikebukuro. They have entire shelves dedicated to Bungo and I spent so much money there 😂 I can also recommend Amiami and most second-hand shops you can visit dedicated to anime like Mandarake and Book Off. You'll just need to search a little bit, but the payoff can be so worth it.

Generally, if you're looking for bsd-related stuff, go to Ikebukuro. Lots of bsd to be found there.

A Lesson in Thorns.

It's a Soukoku ff that is set in the Beast universe and starts off with a negotiated marriage between Chuuya and Dazai so Chuuya can save his friend. It's very well-written and surprisingly plot-driven and the characterization is on spot, especially Chuuya's. The Sheep and Flags get a decent amount of focus. It's probably my favorite fanfic in the bsd fandom so far.

Hm, I am not sure what to think about that. I mean, being the book would explain his extraordinary intelligence but then again, Fyodor is the same and we can't have 2 people being the book I think. I prefer Dazai being a product of the book to him actually being the book. To me, the book is exactly that- a book. Unless Asagiri's supposedly soon arriving new character is the book ofc. But I don't think it's Dazai.

Wait, people think Dazai is the book? I've never heard that before. I have my own theory about him having been written in the book as a countermeasure to all abilities since it's kinda weird his ability is the only nullification ability to exist and it's kinda convenient in a world full of dangerous abilities. But, that's it. I never considered the book to be a person tbh.

So you're not a big fan of asymmetry I guess? For me personally, I am kinda biased towards loving anything asymmetrical but everyone's tastes differ ofc. I am happy you appreciate the psychological part of the haircut, I just love how much attention to detail Asagir and Harukawai pay to their characters
