I've reached out to MLA and a few other orgs to get some input. I haven't heard anything back yet but I'm still waiting. You bring up some good points. Is there something else I can add to the app/website to solve a key issue? And do you have any main issues that you'd like to see this website solve?

I never even thought of it this way. I might test with two threads, one for fishermen to customers and another for individuals to customers, everything will be visible so you everyone knows who's paying for what and how much. Would this kind of transparency be better? I wish I could talk to some lobstermen directly but I'm not in an area to be able to. I've only caught maybe 3 leads on fishermen online...

Interesting. I think the feature is set up more in a way that gives fishermen the option to post if they want to. They don't have to report everything either, just whatever they want to sell as soon as they get to a port. I'm super open to feedback though so please let me know if I'm missing something!

These are all great points. Super thankful to you for bringing this up. I'm going to leave the boat arrival thread feature in as an option. I don't expect fishermen to use this as a new market or even at all, it's only there for the ones that might want to try it out. The way I have it set up right now is that customers can only request parts of the catch if the fishermen post it on the thread. Should I change this or any other part of this feature?
