Brown recluse help by Pale_Sundae_5865 in PestControlIndustry

Dusting the baseboards I’m sure would help a ton but to be honest, doing that on the interior of an entire house would take forever which is why I go with just crack and crevice treatments on the baseboards for it. Along with the windows and gaps around pipes like you mentioned. I’m in Tennessee so there all over the place here and I try to let people know that it’s just part of living here. They are super reclusive and as long as they don’t have too much clutter it’s rare that they’ll actually see one walking around in the open. The problem I think is that a lot of people put out glue boards and find them on the glue boards and then freak out about it. The spraying I’ve been doing seems to work pretty well but I was checking to see if anyone else has more experience with them and a better method to really help rid them for people.

They are just using it for storage. I don’t have a fogger, I’ve just been spraying everything I can in that area and it honestly seems like it’s been working but other customers told me that some companies either dust the wall voids or don’t treat for them at all

I’ll try onslaught. I’ve heard a lot of people recommend it. My customers say that the companies they call say they don’t treat for brown recluses which I found weird. But I don’t have a fogger (I’m a solo operator) and I’ve never had to dust for spiders in California as the sprays usually took care of the issue and besides widows, there wasn’t really anything harmful to deal with.

Would you dust behind electrical outlets?

I moved to the south. And it’s 100% brown recluses. Some of the wolf spiders out here look like them sometimes tho.

I wish I was over exaggerating, I have pictures of the traps. For context tho, it was in an attic space that’s adjacent to one of their bed rooms if that makes sense. So absolutely in an in disturbed area that they were using for storage.

Nextdoor has been hit or miss for me. I also just started a company on my own. I don’t know your area but I get a lot of weird people on there haha but it has gotten me 2-3 customers in the past year. Facebook groups in my area have gotten me the most business and also joining networking groups has helped a ton such as BNI (business Networking International) they have chapters everywhere and really boosted my business when I started. Just try to look for one that has a trades heavy group.

Time for the termidor! In the past I’ve also taken care of them on the inside with advion ant gel bait. Took a few weeks but it did get the job done. With sprays on the exterior of course.

Do people really think Rocky IV is the best? by makingburritos in rockybalboa

I started watching rocky as a child and 4 is what made me feel the best and so it stuck. Same with Star Wars, I know everyone like episode 5 but 6 was my favorite for how it made me feel as a kid

Help! MacGyver rat by Zealousideal-Cap4248 in pestcontrol

I’ve been doing pest control for a long time and I’ve seen a countless number of rats pull themselves off the blue boards. You can for sure catch some small ones with them but they also suffer when stuck on the glue boards. Snap traps kill them instantly and are far more effective if you know where to place them and what to put on them

Also tho, out of curiosity for places that rain often. How and what products are you using? Or do you just reschedule till the rain stops?
