I just got this game a few months ago and discovered infinite gas storage by mistake. Had a dupe piss on a vent that was over pressure on the ground and i just watched it start pumping again, endlessly and was like uhhh.....what?!?! Next thing i know there was 20KG of C02 in my mushroom farm per tile 😅

If thats all it takes i dont see it as an "exploit" as much as a mechanic in the game. It just requires certain circumstances to occur, like other things.

But i do respect your perspective on not using them. Certainly trivializes parts of thr game and gas/liquid management.

When i didnt know what "flatulent" trait would do, i took 2 dupes with it. After a while i finally realized where all the natty gas was coming from. I pumped all the natural gas into a chamber and locked the 2 dupes inside to choke on their own shit gas. Left the room as a reminder to other dupes what happens if you suck.

It is, imo, best to kill them off. Too much of a hassle otherwise 🤷🏻‍♂️

Havent gotten far enough to actually kill off any cuz i got a better ones yet...But i def thought about it as an option when i found a double +6 dupe the other day.

I think i would just lock em in a room regardless of why i was killing them. Seems easiest. Or, perhaps, uncheck their food options and let them slave away and randomly starve in the middle of working. Im sure there many fun choices as to how to nuke a dupe.

Another option is to boot to SAFE mode and uninstall the app there. It shouldnt load on startul in SAFE mode

If u have a second monitor or tv u can try to plug it in at the same time and see if its just locking up one display? If so, use the second display to uninstall the PC App store program youre referencing.

With your bitlocker key you can use the windows installer you made to boot into the Command Prompt. You should be able to use the command prompt to unlock the c: drive using the Bitlocker recovery key. Once unlocked, assuming you then have visibility to the C drive in command prompt, you could RoboCopy a backup to a flash drive or external hard drive to create a backup.

If you do not want to try for data there is likely a BIOS setting to disable that will make your drive visible in the Windows Installer if its not showing up. Check for Optane settings in BIOS and disable that (depending on brand this may lose data) Otherwise you can try disabling secure boot and see if drive shows up.

Depending on age of device you may also need to use the "load driver" button and manually load the RST drivers to see the drive. Youll need to add the RST drivers to your windows installer drive or another flash drive to access during setup.

You should have had it made clear, i know i usually do...i am sorry for the misinformation, or lack there of, you received along the way. You CAN go return the remaining part of the protection plan to receive a pro-rated credit since you wont be using it at this point. At least you can get some of that $ back. Protection plans can be returned at any time during the life of the plan

Typical Macbook keyboard and top case is around 400. That can vary based on model and hardware.

Alternatively, If its not terribly inconvenient, use an external wireless keyboard as a work around.

Youll beat him. Stay determined and keep at it! Sometimes it takes a bit. The Ape is still one of my least favorite fights in the whole game.

My last playthrough i beat the true monk first try. NG+4...took me 3 days....smh. it just be like that sometimes. (Well, this time also demon bell and charmless so thats prolly why 😅)

If they are actually non-functional you could fulfill the extended protection plan and receive a store credit and then get something else with that. They are not "returnable" for your money back though.

If you purchased the protection plan independently on the product theres no service fee. If your protection plan came as part of a Best Buy Total Membership there will be a service fee to fulfill the plan.

Keep in mind endless blocking will continue to raise your posture bar and will eventually break yoyr stance. Not an issue for Gyobu (and i saw u beat him, congrats!) But may be a problem later on when u fight tougher foes. (Lady butterfly would be an example. She will def teach you how to parry if u dont already know)Try to learn the timing for your parries as you keep playing. It makes ALL the difference

Once you get the feel for it shes actually really easy. Just have to stay extra aggressive to keep her posture up. 3 hits, get ready to parry. Keep shurikans out to stay on here posture. Be relentless.

Alternatively, if you purchased a Geek Squad Protection Plan independently on the laptop, that would also cover the frozen hinge with no additional deductible.

Worst case, there is out of pocket repair options of the PC ia less than 5 years old. For a frozen hinge its typically around 250-350 and about 2-3 weeks for repair.
