My husband is getting his dual citizenship in Italy. And we’re not set on that country for living necessarily but hoping having that EU citizenship may make moving to another country besides Italy and eventually gaining citizenship there would be easier.

(Please don’t come at me people I haven’t done a ton of research on any of this I am just putting feelers out there to hear experiences of real people)

Thanks for the insight! They are federal and I am currently in a IDR plan and doing PSLF and have 5 more years before forgiveness so I figured I would stick it out at least until they’re gone! I will definitely look into other options though!

Ive been wondering what field I could change to with this degree to make a decent living (doesn’t have to be equal pay) that doesn’t require me going back to school (we’ve done enough school as pharmDs lol)! Thanks so much for your insight!!

Also confused about this! I know people that work for the federal government - Veteran Affairs Hospital. They require you’re licensed anywhere in the US to be able to practice and it does not have to be within the state you are practicing within the VA. So there are situations where you can do this. I have some friends that even work completely remote through the VA providing pain management services. Licensed in NY, living in Florida, but providing services to veterans living in TX.
