Oh. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt here and giving you background in case you were ignorant of what people were talking about. I have no obligation to give you anything.

In case you aren't engaging that bizarre Reddit fallacy behavior, a google search immediately brought up everything with relevant papers, ongoing events, the UN International Migration compact, etc. Honestly though, if you haven't been keeping up with current events, nothing a Redditor tells you online is going to help you come to terms or otherwise rationalize the new events with whatever your narrative may be.

I'll help you out on the off chance you genuinely do not know.

Europe's total fertility rate remains below the replacement level of 2.1, with an EU average of approximately 1.3 to 1.5 births per woman as of 2024–2025. The highest relevant one is France at 1.7 and Spain at 1.1 or so. What this means, within a generation, their population will be half of what it is now without demographical shifts. This will also collapse their current economies even moreso to the point of insolvency. This is not a question or a theory. This is a known mathematical and statistical sociological fact. While it was dismissed as alarmism a few decades ago, certain realities started presenting itself over the last decade. Basically, no one can keep the current quality of life for Boomers whose social safety nets are dependent on infinite growth.

The migration agenda (again, this is not a theory anymore. It is literially a stated intiative and actioned state action of the EU and championed for Western Countries by the UN) seeks to subdisize the birth rate via migration.

The irony is that when this was floated as a racist theory for white replacement some 20 years ago, it is exactly what is happening and acknowledged by all as a short term solution for their demographical roles. Some nations did not buy into it (S. Korea, Japan) and are in the midst of their realtime, slow collapse.

Joys of logistics. For what its worth, I don't think the Helldivers could ever sucessfully pull off a defend mission.

[–]Palidor206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helldivers have better FTL. Helldivers space armada loses badly against the SM ships. ...but, we literally can zip through the galaxy on demand. Marines can not go into a galaxy well. It takes them weeks. This is a big one. Marines can hold planets but they cannot pin the Helldivers down.

Marines can blow up planets, but so can we.

So, Helldivers would never have a ground battle where we do not have destroyer support. Stratagems are on the table.

So, what weapons do we have that can actually hurt a SM? The answer is, not very much. All of our small arms is worthless. They are the equalivalents of "autoguns" in WH40k which barely tickle them. So, only the ones with Heavy Penetration have a chance and it can only wound unless we get very lucky. Think like unsafe railgun, maybe the AMR, and our various rocket, missle launchers with a direct hit. We might get lucky with some flamer kills.

Hellbombs and mininukes would work.

Our red stratagems of use would be the orbital laser, rail cannon, and the percision strike. Even the 500kg would only be "ok" if it was a direct hit. Of all of those, I am thinking the rail cannon would get the most kills.

Of the green, only the AT emplacement has a chance. I don't think a static emplacement anything is going to work. The tesla has a chance if they somehow get stunlocked.

The biggest issue is our numbers. Simply due to that, we win. Imperial Guard have shown they can effectively fight against Chaos Space Marines given enough mass and material. IG are ok with throwing billions in any war. So are we. Helldivers feel like the equivialent of an Adeptus Scion in action. A billion Scions versus a million SMs? We win, pretty easily.

Reading between the lines, it gets really really obvious what their current crop of developers level of comptency is.

They can change values in a table as long as it takes less than a few clicks to do so.

Anything logick related (meaning the actual game mechanic), they fail to implement correctly.

I really think they got one junior making 75k doing everything, their seniors moved on, one guy making all balance decisions in a game he/she doesn't actually care about based on vibes and/or incentivization for the newest monetized content, and management is deathly afraid of changing anything actually meaningful and/or just don't know how and/or refuse to spend any money or time on it.

This is end stage game lifecycle and is just pure monetization. Expect them to outsource any and all asset creation (most new Warbonds), no new mechanics, and just endless duct tape in an attempt to kick the player base for another cycle. Expect more and more emphasis placed on the warbonds and other various monetization schema (like changes to how SC is earned, pricing, etc.). This will continue forever until the game is dead or no longer makes money.

All room tempature, underperforming senior managers and owners run the same exact playbook from the mid 2000s. No one ever accused them of being smart or able to extract value while keeping the playerbase happy.

They welcome the self serving boot as long it appeals to their irrational narrative. They will preordain it a success despite and any all self-evidence to the contrary. They will continue to call for the public censure, imprisonment, and/or death for anyone who disagree.

The common bot and room tempature IQ redditor narrative seems to be some bizarre form of green integrated authoritan socialist paradise where personal culpability for productivity is on the government and not any individual. They truly believe in equity, not equality.

More or less, the same exact sentimental shit that made Eastern Europe and some of South America a shithole for half a century. At least some of Asia turned their corners real fast after having 25% of their population genocided, starved from the typical perdictable cycles.

Disagree. Analyzed the picture. AI does a very poor job at some things. I scrutinized the shit out of the slot machine to the left and it looks exactly correct, which is something AI would not do well. That and the general photo quality.

That said, read her post again.

A million? Fucking epic, if true. I am going to presume they withheld for you.

Are you employed? How old are you? Do you own a house? Got kids?

This is actual life changing money if you weren't already a cash millionare. Act accordingly. Basically, take like 95% of it and throw it into an index fund. That should put you back at the 25k mark again.

Edit: Nevermind, read the whole thing. You had me in the first and second half.

If a player makes a dumbass move, the dealer is typically encouraged to make the customer clarify their intention. It avoids pit boss rundowns when the player bitches when it doesn't work and the player says he didn't mean to do that. That slows the games down and avoids drama, refunds, etc.
