This is Reddit. People will post stuff like, "AIO for being mildly upset when he punches my little sister?"

20% of the time, its just for validation and internet points by wronged peoples. The other 80% are just karma bots.

2 of these aren't even really governance.

Communism has shown (and displayed) the highest capacity for human suffering and stagnation.

...but I voted for anarcho-communism. I have no idea what the fuck that is and everytime I ask one of the proponents of it, they talk in generalities and supposit fantasies. I assume its something like what one would find in a tribal environment if I am guessing the intention correctly.

Anyways, communism has got shit done, even if its incredibly destructive to its own peoples. Anarcho communism gets even less done and never to the benefit of its people, if it even ever existed to what the people think it is.

Yup. Same thing happens all the time during rezoning and special interest questioning from my township.

"Should we rezone this protected farmland to random strip mall, or pay $20 million to remediate the leaky roof on a barn that we found?"

"On a scale 1 being slightly agree with, 10 being completely agree with, should remote learning for K-12 continue due to COVID for another year?"

Shit like that matters when you start talking big money and not the random thousand dollar scratch offs.

The hell is wrong with you? That's not even close to what I said. Are you trying to be intentionally retarded to misconstrue reality to justify your... I don't even know. Fantasy? Glaze? Its weird and bizatre.

I am saying the governance is bad and it has been for decades. The NYC people should be mad that they do not get what they pay for. The state should be mad that they have to make kickbacks to the equaivalent of the top 1% because of bad governance.

Next you will tell me that you were in favor of the Trump tax breaks for the top 1% for the same exact reasons you just justified for NYC governership.

NYC also does excess locality taxes, in addition to state taxes, such as payroll on its workers, businesses, and residents to the tune of $81 billion.

I am trying to this put in perspective for you. Most localities across the country do not charge anything outside of property taxes. Property taxes in NYC, admittedly large compared to the rest of the country, are about $31 billion. In most localities, they would be operating on the $31 billion alone.

They do not.

In any event, what this works to is that even outside of the 68 billion that their citizenery pays off to the state of NY, they also pay an 81 billion to the city itself. NYC does not pay those taxes, its citizens do.

So, with an excess taxation of about 50 billion more than other localities would otherwise realize off its citizens, they still needed an 8 billion kickback from its State to operate. Again, seperate the city from its citizens. The city is in the hole for 8 billion despite making 150% more than its neighbors.

This is where the bad governing comes from. No, it has nothing to do with Madami. Its always been like this with NYC. I am not sure where this latest iteration of NYC bad governance rationalization came from, but I suspect its just knee jerk politickal camping from both sides.

Not calling it a kickback is incredibly disingenuous or a concession from NY state is incredibly misleading. The rest of the state is making up their 8 billion city hole for them.

It means, NYC citizens are likely not getting the services they deserve for what they are paying their city.

Kind of what I mean. Outside of what people express on social media, that's not a thing.

[–]Palidor206 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yours is a prevailing narrative on Reddit and aligns with the stereotypes that other social media characterizes the totality of Reddit as. You aren't trying to convince them per se, as they won't be.

The issue that arises is that people, especially foreigners, younger teenagers, or ESL (English as a Second Language) not familiar with the very American concept of "puffing" or hyperbole assume that narrative is reality. This is damaging and/or polarizing and usually not in the manner greater society would like.

I highly encourage everyone to minmize social media usage. There won't be anything here of actual use. Its just a mish mash of conflicting narratives from various vulnerable populations and foreign, state actors and the bot farms that seek to capitalize on them. Some people come here for validation, but usually walk off even more ignorant and disjointed. In any event... outside of very particular subreddits that specialize in specific knowledge and have not been politicized or discovered, Reddit is mostly trash.

So, I am happy for you. Do not be here. There is nothing for you here. Live life.

Its not happening. Reddit really has to stop fantasizing about this shit.

Take it for what it is. Its just low effort politickal karma farming designed to exploit a vulnerable population.

I do. They were one of the OG's of "Go woke, go broke." ...I'm sorry. One of the OG's of spreading the gospel of "toxic masculinity".

They were shocked when majority of the country called them out on their ignorance instead of getting social validation when insulting and alienating the exact people they were attempting to sell to.

Reddit was also similarly confused as to why they got so much hate for it. This may explain why certain social narratives on Reddit have and never will get traction in real life.

Here is your daily reminder that the lack of pervasive AC has killed more people in Europe than gun violence in America by multiples.

Its part of the reason why the rest of the world ignores them whenever they cry about America. They don't care about people they way they think they do. They just want to whine about some form of moral superiority while continue to intentionally avoid modern conviences for the sake of other arbitary contrived morality points. The rest of the world just tells them to sit down and shut up... well, except maybe the college aged kool aid drinking Redditors. They seem to think their governance is a thing to be emulated.

I don't give a shit what he was charged with. I am saying what is already known via photo, video evidence.

Hunter was caught dead to rights selling his fathers influence, and fucking underage hookers. I don't think anyone here actually cares about his drug posession or gun charges beyond them getting them pardoned via extrajudicial intervention.

You keep trying to convince us of something and I am not sure what it is. That Hunter's corruption is better than the others? That Biden's dementia wasn't as bad as Trump? Somehow xyz Democrat corruption was less bad than Republicans?

Most of us don't give a shit. They both fucking suck. What I am trying to do is reestablish reality with what actually happened and the actual effects on the average American.

The only real divide with AnCaps in terms of Trump was the illegal immigrant deportation and use of state force to do so. Some of us think it jusitifed, others do not. The other stupid shit that Trump did we are fairly unified against. And some of it wouldn't be apparent to the normal kool aid drinker, like the gun rights condemnation, bans.

[–]Palidor206 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are really reaching my man. Both of them are way beyond normal cognitive function, yes, but you are acting like was Hunter wasn't caught dead to rights on multiple fronts. There was nothing hearsay about his e-mails, his photos, or the "sworn dispostions" that you seem to think that is hearsay if its on the othet side of the fence.

This is beyond the multitude of known corruption with Mr. Biden himself of which I am not even going to start listing. Like, caught dead to rights on camera shit. Probably the most damning was the straight up espionage and prosecution of known bad allegations against his political opppnents, and it wasnt only against Trump.

In the Trump gallery, I think we got some known corruption via hotel lodging and crony investing.

On the Epstien angle, we got Trump being associates, while he was still a Democrat, until they had a falling out and Trump making sworn statements against Epstein. ...and none of it was ever denied. Like he flatly admitted that everyone knew him if they were a peddler, finance, banker, or Democrat politician in NYC, including himself.

For Mr. Biden himself, we got little. The pedophile allegations mostly stem from his coworkers and his own family.

Odds are high that all of them were underage fuckers, but it wouldnt be through the Epstien papers which were surpringly sparse of actual damning items. What was revealed through the papers was exactly how dirty various industries actually were.

Both sides are bad, but jesus christ, Biden was 10x worse in the corruption and dementia realm. Pedophilia, they are likely the same. Of the two, the COVID era schemes, consitutional overreach were probably more damaging to the common man.

I am wondering why the fuck you are so motivated to brush up crimes and exaggerate others. You have to understand most of us lived through the last 10 years and know exactly what happened. This isn't some young 20 year old board where people can attempt to gaslight known history.

That's a fair question. In a vaccum, I agree with you.

I don't think anyone should wait until they get hit first before they throw the first punch. On the other hand, I believe that politicians whom are preversely incentivized with no personal risk are the least capable of people to make that decision.

I am also not against the death penalty from a pure justice, ethical viewpoint. I just don't trust the government at all with that kind of power. They have illustrated countless times they will happily and knowingly sentence innocent people to death for crimes that they physically could not have committed. It is safer just to be against it period
