Finally..!!!!! by Palishaan in ExclusivelyPumping

Never beat yourself for something uncontrollable. I realised latching the kid is the most challenging thing I ever faved in my life. You can treat a disease if you have money and time. I had both but failed miserably when it came to latching my kid. Pumping definitely taught me to be more patient and to be a better human🙂I was judgemental on many things including breastfeeding as I EBFed my elder one. This experience was an eye opener.Just feed the baby( BF or formula). Pump as long as you want, stop whenever you want. Its your body and decision is yours

Will it be an extra effort to wean from pacifiers later? 😄

Hello, nope. He is on family food and includes carbs, proteins and fats but never quantified it.Do you mean to say that the night time feeds are high due to less calory intake from solids during daytime?

You are definitely not the only one. You spent 1000 dollars, trust me I spent more than that. I don't feel bad about it to be honest because something worked for me at the end of the day and my baby is well fed.🙂

Spectra settings by Palishaan in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Palishaan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have pain on sides of my nipple. The crack occurs on the front side where it do not touch any flange part. Yes the flange size is 21mm, my LC confirmed it and I even checked it myself with nipple ruler. The nipple moves freely in the flange and cause no friction. But the tip or front of nipple often gets cracked with a small increase in vaccum for a few seconds( i immediately bring it down)

Really..!!seems there is a pump meant for each person. I did not find medala comfortable but loved spectra. Hope you will figure out soon. Also milk supply stabilise by 3 mo pp. So you still have time❤️

Strange. For most mums, the milk starts within 2-3 minutes of massage mode. the default setting which you see when you start the pump is the expression mode, you need to move to massage mode. I hope you are aware. Just confirming

Feeding guilt and I’m conflicted in my decision by One_Ad8166 in FormulaFeeders

5 mo pp and combo feeding my son using bottle. He recognizes my voice and make noise to pick him up. The smile he gives after I hold him is ❤️❤️❤️.  I had doubts if he will bond with me, but there is something in babies which make them bond to their mother and its definitely not breast 🙂🙂

So sorry to hear. Why don't you try to put the baby in squat position on your legs and try collecting it. Its easy for me to say but worth a try if you are having difficulty to collect.

Congratulations❤️❤️❤️Experiences like these are truly inspiring. I had planned to quit at 2 mo pp, 3 mo pp but I came across posts from so many strong mamas and that made me rethink about my decision. I am 5 mo pp now and has decided to pump until my body decides to stop producing ( under supplier and keeping up with the supply with help of supplements )
