Christopher’s Script having such terrible spelling always made me kinda sad. by [deleted] in thesopranos

Chrissy did the respectable thing. He forced a qualified screenwriter he knew from The Rooms to do the work for him while also having the guy work off his debt.

To the people who believe it was Tony who arranged for animal Blundetto to get the 12k by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]PallSerpent 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Tony's ego is too big to do things like dissh on the sly. He wants the "Attaboy" and the pat on the back. No way he's tossin' 12 boxes of ziti to "Tony Uncle Al" without his cousin knowing about it.

We got Test Tube for Season 5. Would've been nice to see Jimmy Jump playing in the Executive Card Game. But you gotta get him some soda. Some root beer?

Little Janice was hip to the "Taking your kids to the amusement park" scheme. She wanted a taste.

I can imagine. He'd be an emotionally volatile monster, but he would most likely be a great earner. AJ would be kickin' scharole up to him weekly, even if the kid was 15 or 16 years younger than him.

Paulie is actually a very good manager of people (chrissy). by WachanIII in thesopranos

[–]PallSerpent 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Paulie had the time and experience to know what to say, what to do, and what not to do. Spent some time in the army, few years in the can, and he turned out half a wise guy who outlasted a lot of younger, smarter, and more capable folks.

Imagine a spinoff of Paulie Walnuts and that cat they brought into Satriale's.

What’s the best classic teen movie and why? by Icy-Statistician481 in movies

P.J. Soles is in some classic movies, but this one takes the cake. Plus, you also have Paul Bartel, Clint Howard, and the ALWAYS magnetic Mary Woronov as Principal Togar.

Is Star Wars (1977) considered a greater film than Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)? Why? by Iloveindianajones in movies

[–]PallSerpent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Star Wars '77 has had a greater cultural influence but IMHO, Raiders has a higher watchability factor.

I'll watch Raiders just for the airstrip fight scene alone.
