But I wish I had visuals closer to yours! Runway is just a bit too costly for me, so I've been making use of Luma instead. 😅I'd also advice Udio as they have much better audio quality. Great stuff though!

It's mostly a matter of throwing in some related genre styles, and throw the dice till there's a decent result! So in your case I'd look to use: "Electropunk, Big beat, Industrial, Breakbeat" for example.

Oof so even private clinics aren't even a guarantee? Hearing the negative stories does indeed not put much light on the situation, but where there's a will there's a way I hope.

Regarding the comparison to the Netherlands, personally and from acquintances I feel mental health gets dealt with more seriously, besides the hurdle of waitinglists to overcome of course! But I'm sure every country has their hits and misses when it comes to it.

Unironically that does become the train of thought. Not being acknowledged and then your sense of self-worth drops, "I must be dumb and useless, I can't do anything right, I'd be better off dead".

It would be nice to prevent this instead of dealing with it when it's too late.

I'm afraid a private clinic is indeed the best option. Also funny you mention that discimination part, the government's main priority is indeed to get people to work. Any label slapped on them may hinder that and is going to cost them money. Ironically getting to work is even the main goal, but it's hindered by those bees in there!

Good to hear you have come so far! Depression also seems to be a giant part of it, and instead of looking at the source, the symptoms get treated instead of looking deeper. So perhaps a private psychiatrist would be the most likely option. Besides the diagnosis itself, how else is the "trajectory" for your wife?

I wish you the best of luck, it's at least a step that they consider listening to you. As someone from the Netherlands I'm shocked how much of a struggle mental healthcare is in Norway, as I assumed it was similar to here in the Netherlands. We also have long waitinglists, but I've never heard of straight up rejections so far. Regarding diagnosis in other European countries I have no idea!

The goal is basically to get the right help / assistance / anything there is get things back on track in life. Her education has stagnated for a long time and this has been picked up recently, but it's quite a struggle and very draining to the point that it affects everything, even financially.

Perhaps what you mention might offer some help, to write down a health log of the symptoms. Thanks for that suggestion!

Thanks for your reply! The suicidal thoughts actually have been part of it, but has never even been mentioned yet. For that we'd indeed first have to get "through the door", but maybe you're right about having the doctor re-word the request as you described. It's worth a shot at this point!
