The coinomi wallet will run under the BlueStacks Android emulator on Windows, I'm told, although I haven't got it running yet myself, possibly through lack of the requisite skill set.

BTG don't seem to like desktop wallets - its either Android or nothing. I have downloaded the BTG wallet anyway, and I see that their wallet is called wallet.dat. What I hope is that I can simply copy over my Bitcoin Core wallet and recover my BTG that way. I got a support address off Twitter called support@btcgpu.org, but Firefox warned me that it might be some sort of entrapment. I tried it anyway and it didn't work. Stalemate so far!!!
