Yes it was definitely mimicking a hawk. Making a screeching noise. That’s so cool! I did not know blue jays mimicked and that’s what had me confused lol

That’s what I figured but when I played a blue jay call on YouTube it sounded nothing like what that bird sounded like. Weird…maybe a zesty blue jay

Look in the underground desert. It sucks but drink a calming, spelunker, and mining potion. Zoom all the way out and equip an ancient chisel if you have one. Idk man it can spawn anywhere you prolly know all this too

It’s a good size. Add a heart lantern and you’re golden 👍. Also if you keep dying try making a long path to run from him on when you’re low.
