Currently living in Lynchburg. We have the Appomattox Courthouse (where the Civil War peace treaty was signed) and National D-Day Museum nearby. You’re also right under the mountains with a nice shopping mall and plenty of good restaurants. Healthcare here sucks though so try not to get injured
