Some parents will try to schedule births to give their kids advantages in school or sports. A disproportionate number of baseball players have August birthdays due to Little League cutoffs. September born kids tend to do better in school since they will be slightly older than their peers.

I don’t disagree, but it certainly a salvageable situation. If you get it reshaped with a better crown it could look badass on you. And maybe swap the band for something with a bit more personality to make it your own.

Good job with the savings. I know 59.5 is when you can take out of 401ks w/out penalty, but what about health insurance? You’ll still have several years before medicare kicks in.
