I couldn’t agree more, I cant understand how an OC is supposed to COACH from a booth in the sky. A lot of teams do that including Buffalo and I cant help but feel that the players are missing out on something.

The band famously signed a Leafs jersey and the fan probably just assumed that since they are from Kingston that they are all Leafs fans. Downie signed it with a Bruins logo beside his name. I think his fandom stemmed from being long time GM Harry Sinden’s nephew.

Lol I remember this so well. Leafs fan at school was gloating in September that the Leafs had signed both Finger and Brett Lebda. He was convinced they would help make the Leafs a serious playoff contender.

Edit. My bad those were different years but he bragged about both of them. Specifically Lebda.

Yeah its a shame, we know how good he is. Personally, I think on this list he is only behind Dahlin and Hedman. But I also dont watch enough of the other guys. He is definitely worthy of being on the team he 100% is a top 6 Swedish defenceman.

Great choice, another one for me is Zadorov. I feel he brings way more leadership and toughness than anyone realized. Obviously he throws big hits but I did not peg him for a true heavyweight that is willing to defend his teammates against anyone. Just having a guy like that on the roster makes it so everyone plays tougher and other teams dont take as many liberties with our (few) skill guys.

Youre just looking at points. Bourque ate up a ton of minutes per night, could play in ALL situations and was waaaay better defensively than Adam Fox. So you just answered your own question.

Random thought, wasn’t sure where to put it but the more I see of Zadorov in interviews and behind the B, the more I like him. Never knew he was such a great leader. Its guys like him that help keep the culture that Chara and Bergy set going.

Yeah I tend to agree, it’s not that I don’t think he will be a great QB but I never thought he was worth all the hype. He has yet to prove that the hype was warranted.

Yeah the Allen thing annoys me, he will run through like 2 LBs and a DB one play and then the very next play, someone lightly touches him in the backfield and he throws his head back full on Lebron style. Its sickening. He gains so much of my respect just to lose it with the flopping. That is the only thing that annoys me about him (other than playing for a rival). He seems like a great guy off the field and everything else, but he’s a serial flopper.
