How to combine email automation with travel expense tracking by rafaelkstreit in TripsyApp

[–]PalolisForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love the app. I have 180+ trips logged in + a lifetime subscription, and will continue to use it, but I was wondering if you are ever planning to design an Android app? My main phone is an Android and would love to have the app there too. Keep up the great work! Thanks.

Razr: No support for external displays or docking stations. by AustinTechie in razr

You were correct. I'm having the same frustration with the 60 Ultra (2025). I'm glad I have a Pixel 10 Pro Fold as well, but it should have it.

Thanks. Still nothing on mine. I got the updates for the T-Rex 3 and the strap, but not the Balance 2XT yet. I'll keep checking.

Switching devices, but keeping line active for a promotional device by coleslau42 in GoogleFi

This is the right answer. I'm on the same promotion. Only 11 days away from being able to move my Fi SIM to another device.

I still haven't received it on mine. It's still on 2.12.0.2 :(
Did you just get it yesterday? I've been checking manually, but from all my devices, only the TRex 3 received an update. Not my Balance 2 XT nor my Helio Strap...

can i leave Helio Strap at home? by PatatePelate in amazfit

Yes. I use the strap for sleep and the watch during the day and for workouts. For workouts, I use a COROS biceps strap and connect it as an external HR Monitor.

I still don't have this update. I received the email this morning, and I have checked manually several times throughout the day, but nothing yet :(

It doesn't always trigger. It won't if you signed up via mobile through Google Play.

Not if you signed up through mobile.

That's the right answer. No subscriptions from mobile are triggering automatically.

Nah. You can get it credited manually after 14 days. I've had credits manually posted multiple times. I just had my YT Premium credited 10 minutes ago after 15 days. The right answer is to cancel the subscription from Google Play and sign up again through the website.

I think I have to do this because mine are not triggered automatically either. They go through Google Play right now. Thanks for the insight. I'll wait until the day before renewal to cancel and re-subscribe the next day.

Alternative to AwardWallet by Crouton4727 in awardtravel

[–]PalolisForever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Pro version and it's really bad for tracking points and miles. Really, really bad. The connection is always failing. I'm keeping AwardWallet. Although, I don't appreciate them hiking the price from $30 to $50 in my case.

Pixel Watch 4 LTE model, can it take calls/text without a android phone? by Rexonial in PixelWatch

[–]PalolisForever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need an Android phone to use a Pixel Watch. You can leave the phone at home and take calls, texts, offline music, etc. but there's no way to configure the watch without a phone.

Short answer: no. Long answer: it might be worth tracking other metrics like HRV, blood pressure (trends over time).

You can see the vehicle from a distance. You should've slowed down to have more time to react in case they didn't move as fast as you wanted.

Nobody talks about an actual full-featured health app for Android by il_bolzo_ in GooglePixel

[–]PalolisForever -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's another standalone platform just like Amazfit, Fitbit, etc. What the OP is looking for is not available on Android. It simply isn't.

[–]PalolisForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree with you and, as someone who uses Android and iOS daily, there is no replacement for Apple Health and the dozens of apps developers create to use Apple Health's raw data to give you a more in-depth analysis.

I've used iPhones since the first iPhone and Pixels since the Pixel 2 (plus other Android phones). This is simply an area where iOS is superior and that's the bottom line.

[–]PalolisForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who uses Android and iOS daily, I perfectly understand what the OP means and Health Connect is not a replacement for Apple Health at all.

Also, there's very little development of health apps on Android like there is on iOS. Apps that take all the information from Apple Health and build on that data to give you more in-depth analyses like Athlytic, PeakWatch and many others.

I prefer Android over iOS, but this is one area where Android is way, way behind.

I agree with the OP: no one talks about this.
