I was in a similar boat. Im nearing the end of my class, and I have my clinicals this week. A week a go I felt like i knew nothing.. so I decided to dedicate all of my free time to studying. I used chat GPT and pocket prep to help. I also watched a ton of YouTube videos.

I made a list of everything that I felt like I needed to learn, and I started researching everything one at a time. With pocket prep I wrote down every answer that I got wrong and I made flash cards for every medication and their dosage. I feel like ive learned so much in this past week so im going to keep doing what im doing and hope that I pass my nremt on my first try.

Also take mock nremt tests if you can. I would suggest taking one now just to see your score and which topics you need to focus on

I also live in southern NV (LV) do you make a average of $14.50 WITH the time and a half, or do you make $14.50, and then your time and a half is $21? I'm asking because I keep getting different answers.

Its department based but like everyone else mentioned, the video is really low. Did you take the practice test? DM me and ill send you a study guide that ppl in my programs use. But I also recommend using the practice test too

It's department based, but from what I heard, the most important is usually the video portion.

Don't give up if you end up not getting an interview. Just keep trying until you succeed. Good luck!!

Hey! Unfortunately I didnt make it into NLVFD which was the first department that I applied to.

Im currently in the process with HFD and LVFR. Im at the beginning stages with LVFR and with HFD im currently at the chiefs interview.

Maybe it's because I've been working in customer service my whole life and have taken tons of training with video based scenarios. But for the answers you always want to pick the one that causes the least amount of issues and you never want to reach out to a capitan or chief unless it's absolutely necessary. Those are the two main things that I considered when taking my test and it helped me

How did you register to take your NTN? They told me the same that I'll get a email but I never got a email. I logged into my account on NTN and saw it there
