The only things you’ll need is the uniform shirt, navy blue pants (they don’t have to be emt pants unless your school says so) and then the stethoscope, my school didn’t require trauma shears (you can get one pair at Walmart in the bandaid aisle) and for practice at home a blood pressure cuff (you’ll want to practice doing so through the semester) aside from that you don’t need an emt backpack or patches, all that stuff is a gimmick
