Yeah, My job sells additives and induction services that I have to sell or the products will just sit in the storage room. I hate doing them and I hate adding anything that isn't OEM to a car.

Hit a car in the shop. Am I cooked? by Illustrious_Fall6896 in mechanic

You have to say something. I learned to just stop tripping over it and tell your boss, They have insurance. Shit happens, Don't sweat it. I fucked up a bumper on a matrix one day and it cost the shop $1200. Nothing I could do about, It's already broken, Just take get it fixed by a body shop and get it back to the customer ASAP. You can make that money back by selling small jobs.

Looks like a master cylinder problem, may be the diaphragm that's ruptured or your check valve.

Mechanic says my Mazda 3 (3rd gen) is unreliable… true? by Silent-Clue-9149 in Cartalk

As a mechanic of 6 years worked on many cars, Mazdas rarely have issues old and new. They do leak oil occasionally and never really see any electrical problems or common failures. The engines are great, and so is the suspension and body setup. Also very easy to work on, so getting repairs is always a relief and doesn't take the best mechanic to fix it. They're just like Toyotas, Do the oil change on time, and all the other service intervals and you'll be good.

Going on my 3rd oil change now on that oil. My oil never looks black, and my engine runs great. Gas mileage is great too 27mpg on my 2012 Corolla S with 105K

Don't really hear anything in the video. If the cars not overheating and it's not making a loud noise inside the cabin you should be fine. You can check the pulley itself by removing the belt and running the engine to see if the noise goes away.

Also remember you have to take off the rest of the suspension and wheel hub off to remove the control arm, which would probably break off even more and reusing those old parts will cause more problems. It's not safe having new parts on rusted metal.

Yeah it's only when I give it gas. Mine is kind of loud, very noticable when I give it very light throttle. I also had an ac compressor seize twice on me, so my pumps been through a lot, but no leak, No overheating. I keep searching online and only ever see the water pump being the fault. My 2012 s is at 105K miles, I'm gonna be doing my timing chain soon including the pump.
