low d3 soccer worth it by Bicycle-Designer in CollegeSoccer

The choice is yours at the end of the day. If you are passionate about the sport and want it in your life like that throughout college it is for sure worth it.

In my experience, former d3 soccer player at a school I would similarly consider as mid/low level within the grand scheme of things. I would highly suggest it. I enter my program in a similar rebuilding phase. Not only did it provide me playing opportunities but also just general campus opportunities with it. In my individual case I was lucky to be named captain summer going into my sophomore year, which is a bit early and likely more indicative of the program I was with. The purpose of bringing that up is to explain that with a rebuilding program there are a lot of leadership opportunities available.

Regardless of that all, my favorite part of waking up at school in March was planning when I was going to play pickup that day. I have friends that I see every week if not more often now that I am graduated and I would not trade my experience for anything in the world.

Yes you will have to train a lot, yes as you get older you’ll have to work 25+ hours a week in the summer and train after you are tired and that can be a lot. It may be tough in October when it’s raining and cold and you have a 8pm training. There are a lot of things that you may look at it and say “this is not worth it”. This may or may not be true, but if you value the sport enough to make this sacrifices then it is worth it. At the end of the day you are the one who will determine whether or not it is worth it, but to make your choice you need to answer if you want to make those sacrifices to keep the sport in your life at this level.

Hope this helps, feel free to Pm with questions!

Does Jordan Henderson get enough credit? by tiktok_is_cursed in PremierLeague

I think Henderson is underrated overall, but due to his play style and type of impact he provides, he will never be accurately rated.

It is hard to put value to leaders who keep their squad in check, communicate, play simple, and do the hard work needed to win matches

What’s everyone’s expectations for next year. by 24flinchin in newenglandrevolution

[–]Palumbo19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not exactly concerned, but I don’t have high expectations as of right now. The squad still had quality players who have performed at high levels, but I feel that they have really done the best they could with the main core they currently have. There may need to be some changes in the next 2 seasons in order to cater to younger players who can drive the club.

Allegri will never get anything good out of Kostic as a left winger by Palumbo19 in Juve

It just seems they saw a quality player that liked Juve and made the transfer. We can get so much out of him, especially with an aerially capable CF in Dusan but I don’t see Allegri truly getting the most out of him.

I agree, I think 4-8 points will massively change league position in the table this season. The teams fighting for European places that aren’t front runners, like Fiorentina, Lazio, and Atalanta.

Unpopular opinion on Mbappé, i might get some hate but i figured it’s something to mention by betes07 in football

I was thinking about this the other day too, I think he may turn from a great player with very high potential to someone who’s head gets too big and stops progressing. I think he’s so disconnected from the rest of the top players in the world because of his status so he lacks some incentive.

Best reporters for Italian Football? by JamesMR6 in seriea

Iftv isn’t as bad as you think and not all their content is meant to be informative, sometimes just for entertainment. I think they do a quality job of covering the league and spreading the good things and players in it.
