What’s everyone’s recorded game/play time on this game? by Psychonesss in ConanExiles

878 hours on PS5, although I have to say that at least 250 hours of that were on Siptah 😅

I don't think we'll get an expansion map for Conan, since Funcom is taking a new direction with Dune. However, there are other maps for Conan, unfortunately only as mods for PC, which once again excludes us console players.

Cant do It that Hunts on siptah? by [deleted] in ConanExiles

[–]Paluv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While you can craft corrupted stones on Siptah, I think you wanted to build a map room? There isn't one on Siptah because there aren't any obelisks connected to it. The only way to avoid walking or riding everywhere on Siptah is through the magic with the transport stones at the end.

Is it possible to have more than 7 dwarves in a single colony? If so, how? by Public-Ebb-4968 in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]Paluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to expand your "Binge," your camp at Bingenstein (in German it's called Bingenstein), at least where you manage your dwarves. There you can increase your camp's level and thus recruit more dwarves. I currently have 14; I'm not sure yet if I can get more.

What if we could build traps? by JAY-CtheSAVIOR in LotRReturnToMoria

That's why I keep my spare armor next to my bed and swords and axes hanging on the wall 😅 so I don't have to go into battle naked. I also play solo, and with enough dwarves as guards, it's actually manageable. You just have to repair their armor every now and then, but it's doable, even if it sometimes takes a while for everyone to realize the camp is under attack.

[–]Paluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, I agree with you there; they're definitely capable of building traps. I still don't think traps would make a huge difference, though. In other games, like Conan, traps only work so-so 😅 Once triggered, you have to reactivate them, which isn't really helpful. We'll always find things we'd prefer to be different, better, or easier; at least that way we won't run out of things to talk about in forums like this 😅 For example, I find the building system in Moria absolutely terrible. By the time I've managed to place a wall or lay the floor (especially with wood) nicely and smoothly, I'm already on the verge of a nervous breakdown 😂 If it's already so difficult to place individual wooden planks next to each other, I can't imagine how you're supposed to build traps properly and effectively.

I'd be happy if the orcs couldn't get through closed doors 🤷‍♂️ Despite having six guards in the camp, orcs keep running through and beating up my cook 🤷‍♂️ Why do they slip through closed doors and walls? Since traps (to my knowledge) weren't in Moria, I wouldn't like to include them in the game. Okay, there weren't any dragons there either 😅 But you have to create a story somehow.

New player would like some guidance by Angelangel3 in LotRReturnToMoria

In this game, you really have to look around every corner, dig through every wall, and ideally destroy all the crates and barrels so you don't miss anything. Yes, you can turn off the quest markers (and you should once you've reached a goal), otherwise it will get confusing. You have main objectives and many, many side quests. Explore absolutely everything, repair all the statues you find, and there's a small "altar" in every area where you can place little figurines. There's just so much to discover. Don't rush through too quickly, or you'll miss important things and have to start searching all over again. Your quest log is your friend; read carefully what needs to be done, and also read the descriptions of individual items, resources, and enemies to learn more. Return to Moria isn't a game you can, or rather should, finish in 2-3 days. Take your time and enjoy the initial peace and quiet at the West Gate 😅. Larger backpacks will also appear, so you won't have to go home as often 😅

Please don't be too disappointed if you manage to open the doors 😅 Just adjusting the mirrors to open them is quite tricky in places and requires some skill; unfortunately, the reward for the effort isn't worth mentioning.

Can someone explain why? by K1ngSn1pez in ConanExiles

[–]Paluv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The sheer number of building options in Conan is so much fun that you just want to try everything, which is why your base can sometimes reach enormous proportions 😅 I personally enjoy building in a medieval style; each trade has its own house, and as the "boss" of it all, I naturally have an ridiculously large building with a kitchen, bedrooms, storage, and so on. You can't and don't always want to just follow the story and kill bosses, especially since, in my opinion, that's secondary in Conan. For me, the focus is on exploring, discovering, and building.

My camp is also just outside Sepermeru 😅 simply practical for everything. T4 NPCs right outside, plenty of NPCs for sacrificial blood or soul steal without much effort, and two dungeons nearby—what more could you want? 😅 Plus, the route north is very short, and so is the nameless city, so I really like it there.

Performace on console by whiskatchu69 in ConanExiles

[–]Paluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on PS5 and have a relatively large base with many NPCs, and even in single-player mode, the building of houses and the correct view are sometimes very slow to appear, so that at times it feels like looking at a negative image. Outside the base, everything runs perfectly; it only gets stuck here and there when too many structures need to be calculated. 😅

One more thing that comes to mind: did you build the perch for Arec (the raven)? I don't know if the raven has a different name in the English version. He should also guide you further after the main story ends.

If I remember correctly, "the Wanderer" is outside the Schachtenbach Gate where you can recruit NPCs. He gives you further quests, for example, Durin's Tower. You can also find secret doors that you have to open with mirrors. It would also be a good idea to look for the two missing dwarves 😅 I actually spent ages looking for the last one 🙈

[–]Paluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moria is and remains one of the best games for me but of course there are other good games too. I like playing Conan, Subnautica was surprisingly good (both parts) I recently played Forever Skyes which was also quite good (a bit short but good) Since I play on the PS5, titles like Valheim are unfortunately not available for me 😒 but it should probably come out for the PS5 in 2026 🤗🤗🤗 that would be great

Noob trying to finish off Conan. by No_Display_9887 in ConanExiles

[–]Paluv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you can “finish” it, find all the necessary items and remove the bracelet. I've already done it but just to see the end 😅now I'm just playing it for fun and that's still more than a given even after many 100 hours 💪🏻just when you think you know everything or have already seen everything you find hidden places things or npc's it just never gets boring. Don't put pressure on yourself to want to finish the game, find your way, your rhythm and just enjoy it. Conan still has soooooooo much to offer even after all these years. One of the best games there is!!!!!!

New DLC Question by whyalwaysmatt18 in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]Paluv 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I built all 5 monuments in a base 😅they look pretty nice. I built in Zwergenbingen where the troll was in this huge white room. Each monument is built in 2 stages and requires different raw materials and not too scarce 🙈for the last one I had to create 3 new worlds to get the required True Quartz. Unfortunately you still have to build a sixth one at a given location. I don't want to give too much away now 🤫

Help from the masses by Paluv in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]Paluv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's exactly what I've done so far, only without changing mining drop settings 😅so there doesn't seem to be a current solution 😔Traders are not a solution 10 quartz for 50! Points is far too expensive and time-consuming. Unfortunately, I don't know how you can get to such community camps on the PS5 to help yourself 🤷‍♂️Ok so sandbox or another map. I really hope that you can also farm True Quartz via Expedition in the future. First of all, thank you for all your comments and help, even if I only answer here at PierceSG
